Great looking truck ! For parts try Old International Trucks, https://oldinternationaltrucks.com , also check the International page on https://www.vintagepickuptruck.com -
Great looking station wagon. It is nice to see it being driven and not just to a car show.

Try Fender Skirt Depot, www.fenderskirtdepot.com

I used charcoal in a car I bought that had been smoked in. I put several plates of charcoal in the car, front and back, left it for a week and had no more smell. Also a company BG Products makes a deodorizer that can be sprayed in the vents.

That is great. I remember when I was a kid we had several “yard sticks” around in the house and the garage that had advertising from all different kinds of companies. Nice looking model car display. -

Great car ! How often do you get it out and drive it ? -
As others have said “start small” , fix small items, as you accomplish these repairs it will give you confidence and keep you interested in the project. Post some photos, we would love to see your truck.

Great looking collection. You are right about them being large cars, you can really see that in the photo with the Bentley. -

Another source for carburetors is Vintage Carburetors, www.vintagecarb.com . They specialize in pre 1935 carburetors and parts..

Nice looking car, I like it being original as possible. I agree that a good wax would be good. Checkout https://www.griotsgarage.com if you want to try doing something besides just waxing, they have a lot of what they call paint correction products. Also Meguiar’s has 3 products that work together, Ultimate Compound, Ultimate Polish and Carnauba Wax.

How about the old term car sellers used “Cream Puff” In answering your original question about what to call that grease/oil/dirt mess how about Grease Clod or Goop -
I agree with everyone else that is a great looking car. When I was a teenager a friend of mine had a 71 or 72 Midget, it might not have been fast but it seemed fast especially going around corners

Celebration of the Authentic Car II - May 20, Duluth, GA
vintage1 replied to gwells's topic in General Discussion
After you check out the car show, take some time to look around the museum. Besides locomotives and rail cars, there are some old city buses. -
I don’t know if it’s a problem on my end but I can only see part of the seat back and headrest, maybe you could repost the photo.

Selling a Mercedes: Will Two Years Make a Difference?
vintage1 replied to OldChargerGuy's topic in German Automobiles
I don’t think 2 years will make much difference. To make the most on that car it should be advertised in locations that are specific to Mercedes. With the service history that car has and it’s condition it could bring close to what she wants if marketed to Mercedes enthusiasts. A good place to start would be The Star, the magazine of the Mercedes Benz club, you can advertise in the magazine without being a member. If she wanted to try the auction route try MB Market, a Mercedes only auction site. -
Check with Kaddie Shack, https://www.shop.kaddieshack.com , they sell repair kits for those carbs and also can provide some technical advice and help. It might be worth contacting them and see if they have any suggestions for the problems your son is having with his VW.

Neat truck. I would like to see it in front of my house coming to work on the phone instead of living in the world of cell phones.
