  1. WTF! I am going to miss you following along everyday.
  2. Joe, I will be following these posts with greater interest now! A car hobby and a girl friend, WOW!
  3. Joe, Does your car a brake band on the outside and shoes on the inside? I have never seen a setup like this. Thanks
  4. Sorry to hear that, I was impressed with your work yesterday!
  5. Joe, I had some damaged gear teeth welded up by a specialty welding shop near me. The welds were to hard to machine but grinding worked well but slow. That may be another approach to repairing the hubs.
  6. Joe, I like your boring bar setup worked nice. I am puzzled as to how you are going to make a support for the bearing. I would imagine there is a lot of side load that close to the pinion.
  7. John, You get some great old photos. I was curious where this was taken, and found it in Lexington KY, street markers are still there. Thanks Again for sharing!
  8. Bryan I need one for my 1933 Auburn, that does not have the same brackets on it as mine but I can transfer them. Let me know how to purchase it. Thanks
  9. Joe, as Ed said Very Impressive!! 🙂 Look forward to seeing the next stage and I am amazed at how you figure out all the steps you take.
  10. Joe have you considered spray welding the ball, not sure how you would machine afterwards. George
  11. Ted this truck looks really sweet, another nice restoration, thanks for sharing!
  12. This is by far the most interesting thread I follow. Always some new technic to solving a problem or something like this snap starter with help from others. I look at the detailed drawing but can't figure how it works, I am sure will learn more about it. Thanks Joe & Friends!
  13. You have been busy, I like the idea with the lift arms.
  14. Ed, thanks for the pictures. Very nice. Looks just like I remembered a new one 50 years ago!
  15. Ed, Your Sun machine looks brand new, pretty impressive, any more pictures of it? Thanks
  16. Joe, That's too bad, did the bolt pull the threads out of your support arm?
  17. The machining on the teeth looks great for such a deep cut.
