  1. Hi Blake, Thanks for the message. Unfortunately I sold the car. Sorry I didn't see your message sooner. I've had a lot going on and haven't been online lately. Hey, do you know how to delete this account? Since I don't have a TC anymore, I really don't see any point in keeping this account. Thanks. Mark
  2. Hello TC friends, I've decided to sell my 1991 Chrysler TC by Maserati. My car's vin# is ZC2FS1203MB207414. It's red with ginger interior and has the V6 engine with automatic trans-axle. The car has both tops (hard and rag), with good Viper Radial HX high performance tires. According to the records that came with the car when I bought it (October 2015), the car is #1157 of 1636 ever made. The odometer stopped working at 60,000 miles, so I really have no idea how many actual miles is on the car. The engine is strong, but the transmission is starting to slip and I just don't have the time or the money to invest in the car. She really needs a better home than what I can provide. I paid $2400 for her last year, but would take considerably less. Does $1500 sound like a good price; how about $1000? I just need to sell it ASAP because I don't want to keep paying for insurance on a car I'm not driving. So if anyone out there is interested, please contact me and let's do this fast. I'm about 30 miles north of St. Louis, on the Illinois side of the Mississippi River. My private email address is mark_ventimiglia@yahoo.com and I can be reached here 24/7. Also, my phone number is 618-259-0043, but email is a better way to reach me. Thanks in advance! Mark
  3. Hi HemiDude, thanks for the reply. Oh, I'm sorry. Chris, the parts guy at my local Chrysler dealership, said he just needed the last 8 digits of my VIN. He's the one that gave me the above parts number. My car's entire vin# is ZC2FS1203MB207414. It has the V6 engine and is an automatic. I hope this helps. Thanks in advance! Mark
  4. Good morning everyone, It's been a while since I've been here; I hope everyone is going well. OK, here's the scoop... I own a 1991 Chrysler TC by Maserati (VIN: MB207414) and I need a gear shift cable. My local Chrysler dealer informed me that the original part number is: 4543041; and the most recent part number is: 4670133. They said they don't have one, which is why I turned to the TC Club forum! Does anybody have one, or can get one for me? Feel free to contact me directly at mark_ventimiglia@yahoo.com for a faster reply. My zip is 62095 (Wood River, Illinois) just in case you need to figure shipping rates. Thanks in advance! Mark
  5. Thanks. This was a very helpful thread. I purchased a 1991 TC last month (Oct 24th) and it only had 1 set of keys... 1 ignition/door key, 1 trunk key... so yes, your advice is very helpful. Thank you all so much!
  6. That's awesome! Congratulations on getting it back on the road!
  7. Thanks for the wonderful advice, friends!
  8. Congratulations on your first TC. I just purchased my first TC last weekend (October 24th)! I say that tongue in cheek, because I'm not sure if I'll get another one. I mean, this one is the ONLY one that I've ever seen in real life! No lie. These babies are rare... at least in my neck of the woods. Anyway, I hope you enjoy your TC as much as I enjoy mine! Nice meeting you! Mark
  9. Hello everyone! The hood props on my TC don't work anymore; they're not strong enough to keep the hood up. Is there any way to fix them? Or do I just have to install new ones? If so, where do I get them? Thanks in advance for any advice and help. Mark
  10. My TC is a 1991; red with a red hard-top and ginger interior, with the V6 engine. The vin# is ZC2FS1203MB207414.
  11. Hello friends... this is slightly off topic... does anyone know where I might be able to find seat covers that will fit over the TC's seats? I'm looking for seat covers that have the Maserati logo on them. I have a red 1991 TC. Thanks in advance.
  12. Hello everyone. I just purchased a 1991 red TC... the 6-cylinder, not the turbo... and it has both tops... I'd say it's a few points from mint condition, since it's not perfect. I'm 50 years old and this is the ONLY one I have ever seen in real life. The guy I bought this car from claims a friend of his has 4 of them. Of course, I've never seen them. Since this is the ONLY one I've ever seen, it's the ONLY one I can verify exists. I'm sure there's more out there, but they're getting even more rare than they were when they were first created. They are very cool, unique, and rare little cars... and sooner or later they're bound to "catch on" by the real collector. However, rest assured, I love mine and I don't plan on EVER selling it... at any price. I will most likely leave it to my nephew's child... which, just for the record, isn't even born yet. Nonetheless, for the time being, I'm going to enjoy it myself.
  13. Hi guys! I just purchased a 1991 Chrysler TC by Maserati this past Saturday (October 24th) and the car has NTB tires with an H-rating of up to 130 mph. Since I've only had the car for 2 days so far, and only driven it a total of about 60 miles, I can't really give an accurate review of the tires... however, they seem fine thus far. My TC has the 6-cylinder, not the turbo, but I do agree with some of the posts here... this car is designed for touring, not racing. Myself, being a 50 year old man, isn't really interested in racing anyway; I just love the car and the way it drives... and just cruising at 65 or 75 mph is a simple joy, regardless of the tires. But better than that is puttering around town at 30 to 40 mph... slow enough so that everyone can see the car (and me in it) as I go by... it's a very rare and unique little car... and regardless what alot of the nay-sayers might think, this car DOES turn heads. Well, that's my 2-cents worth anyway. Thanks for letting me chime in!
  14. Hello everyone. My name is Mark Andrews. I am 50 years old and have been a Chrysler-Dodge man for the past 30 years or so. My very first car was a 1974 Dodge Dart with a 318 engine that I bought for only $700. Over the years I have owned many Chrysler-Dodge vehicles (ie: trucks, cars, vans), however, this coming Saturday, October 24th, I'm going to take possession of a beautiful 1991 Chrysler TC by Maserati. I am really looking forward to making this purchase! I remember when these wonderful cars first came out... I was driving a Dodge Colt at the time. Oh how I wanted a TC back then, but I couldn't afford one. 24 years later I finally get my wish! Anyway, to make a long story short, the seller told me about the Chrysler TC by Maserati Club and suggested I join... which I just did. I just wanted to stop by and say "Hello", and introduce myself. Thanks for having me here! Sincerely, Mark
