  1. Needs surf boards on the top! He does nice work and I like the look. Picking nits: the red lines are just a little too close to the wheels. It'd be perfect if the red lines were a slightly larger diameter. Somehow the white lines look different at the same size.
  2. Nice. I just like being on the scene too.
  3. That looks like some good fun. Was it just a show or were they running them down the track too?
  4. It's well executed - I'll give them that.
  5. I love going to Canada. Happy Birthday!
  6. Front bumper is tweaked. I'd definitely want to see this one in person first.
  7. Dig the afterburner tail light and the hideaway cyclops headlight.
  8. They didn't look so fabulous in the installed condition, were holding rust in, and weren't holding the body off the frame at the original height. If I didn't address the rust between the mounts and the body now, they'd be going through the floor soon.
  9. Here you go. Two things to keep in mind: 1. The car is on the lift with the front tires hanging. 2. I put very short bushings in my end links to try and stiffen-up the assembly. This seems to be causing the end of the bar to contact the spindle. I may have to put longer bushings in. On my '67 everything bolted right up. I used the existing end link holes in the lower arm.
  10. Welcome - your English is very good. I have not done the front bushings on my car yet, only the six in the rear. I'll bet Mr. JZRIV might be able to let you know what he did during his restoration.
  11. No problem, but remember that mine is a '67 so there may be some differences.
  12. It's nice and 9k miles sure ups the price, but 55k for a non-GS with a tweaked fender? A little too rich for me...
  13. She sure trusts that emergency brake...
  14. You're welcome. It's weathered and worn so take that into account...
  15. Here's a couple of shots of mine:
  16. Time capsule. I'd be afraid to drive it or touch it. Love the color.
  17. Excellent pictures of a great restoration. Looking forward to seeing it in person in September...

If you can put the 430 in the corner of the shop somewhere for later, and the swap doesn't cut anything up too much, I'd say go for it. Nice car and welcome aboard.
  19. I would wear a purple velvet sport coat, dark sunglasses, and roll down the boulevard in that thing...
  20. I found a place that does steel buildings that don't need a concrete foundation. No concrete = no taxes here. No electric - it's just a glorified shed. It looks roughly like the pic below. When I get older and start downsizing, I'll put it on craigslist and someone will come and disassemble it and take it away. I leveled and compacted a gravel pad. They're installing it once mud season is over. This will give me a place to put all of my lawn/garden/recreation stuff in and clear out space for my project car/trucks in the real garages. Right now I'm parking the commuter underneath the Riv.
