  1. We have patterns and defective castings for a 450 ci jug. Our castings look like the ones from IMS. https://www.chuckstoyland.com/category/automotive/other-auto-racing/keeton-racing/1913-keeton-at-indy-by-jerry-gebby-antique-automobile/#group-2 BUT they look different than the Type "J" photos in the Detroit Public Library catalog?! We want to measure a real one in order to fix the patterns. The water jackets thicknesses are funky and the valve seat areas are incompletely casted... Yesterday we heard that Wisconsin also built a Type "JR" 450 ci engine with 3" ports vs. Type "J" 2.5" ports. Anyone have any ca. 1914 Wisconsin Engine catalogs OTHER THAN the one at the Detroit Public Library?

  8. Thanks for the information Gary. MWS Wire Wheel (mwsint.com) in England is new to me. I'll email them and ask. Richard Bros in UK and Vintage Rims in Australia have been trying to help me. PLAN A was to find all the components and have Steve Hood of Vintage Rims put them all together. Does this make sense? Finding the correct wheel centres has been a challenge. The 1916 HUDSON used straight-sided tires & rims too. This is why I presume I'll need some lock rings. Do I? How was your experience having NEW "Rudge-Style splined hubs and spinners/locknuts machined in China from drawings I made?" Might I try them? I also know someone in Lativa to ask too.
  9. WANTED (5) 34”x4” RUDGE racing wire wheels for a 1916 HUDSON with correct, compatible Centres, Hubs, Lock Rings...? Yes, we are willing to fabricate the needed parts. Do mechanical drawings exist for Standard 62 Centres Long 160mm Front & Rear HUBS? Do mechanical drawings exist for the other missing parts we need?
  10. (5) 34”x4” Authentic ca. 1916 RUDGE Racing Wire Wheels (special "speed" combination) for a 1916 HUDSON racer with Clincher Rims, correct, compatible Type 62 Centres-Long 160mm, Front & Rear Hubs, Spokes, Lock Rings et al... complete. 13. I'm not sure license registrations are public information. A California friend thinks maybe license plate ownership might be public. In who owns California Horseless Carriage license plate # 871 nowadays? Any Californians know?
  14. Does anyone know of this car? It was sold at auction in California in 1989. I think Robert Gottlieb owned it. It could be a 1904 NATIONAL Electric Model 65. I'd like to add it and others to a NATIONAL Registry. Thanks Charles Chuckstoyland.com
