  8. Hi, I am one of the librarians working for the AACA Library & Research Center. We do not appear to have material pertaining to this artist, although we do have files on a few automotive artists (ie: A. Radebaugh & A. Kow). It might be worth your while to reach out to the National Library of France. A good starting point might be art encyclopedias: http://www.bnf.fr/en/tools/a.welcome_to_the_bnf.html If you do find out anything further, please feel free to pass on your findings to the AACA Library because we would be happy to start a file on this artist. Best of luck with your hunt! Regards, Matthew Hocker
  9. Hi John, The ad is for the 1968 model year. I didn't scan the ad but it looks like it is from a two page spread, which you can see here: 1968 Mustang Ad Best Regards, Matthew Hocker
  10. Hi! Here are the ads we have scanned for the 1922 model year. Enjoy! Sincerely, Matthew Hocker
  11. Hi Bob, I checked our collection and didn't come across a book featuring teens restoring a Hispano Suiza. I also tried playing around with some search terms to see if I could find the book online. Do you know what year it might have been published? What was on the cover? If your happen to remember the author's last name, that will probably be your best clue (though it sounds like the name is eluding you). Best of luck with your hunt! Regards, Matt Hocker
  12. Hi Mr. Allen, Glad you liked the article. Thanks for reading! I was unable to find a name in my research. The 1970s Antique Automobile article on the truck references the "Mansfield Dair Company" as having bought a truck in 1916 and that Ziba Hitt (Beech Creek test driver since 1915) moved to Mansfield when the truck was sold to the dairy. He drove it until it was scrapped in 1921. A 1967 newspaper article mentions the firm was acquired by the Dairymen's League in 1921. It mentions another truck being purchased by a Blanchard area farmer by the name of James Smith. It would be exciting to find out if your grandfather owned one of the trucks. Good luck with your hunt and be sure to keep us updated! -Matthew Hocker

  17. Hi Mr. Babcock, I've not yet had a chance to look through our holdings; I've been preparing for next week's Fall Meet Yard Sale. I will be able to dig more into this when things wind down after Fall Meet or if there is any downtime next week. In the meantime, if you find out anything else feel free to post it here. Have a good one. Sincerely, Matthew Hocker Assistant Librarian
  18. Thanks to all who have commented on Mr. Babcock's post. Mr. Babcock, are there any distinguishing markings on this piece? We do have a few files on stationary engines, along with a few early books on the subject. Best Regards, Matthew Hocker Assistant Librarian
  19. Hello, Here is how you can add an image to your post. Click on "Reply to this Topic." 25. Hi John, Thanks for your question. I had a chance to look through our duplicate material and, unfortunately, we do not have any extra 1955 model year Studebaker literature. We receive donations throughout the year, so there is a possibility something could show up down the road. Feel free to inquire with us from time to time. Thanks and have a good one. Sincerely, Matthew Hocker Assistant Librarian
