If I recall correctly even the 31 PA lids are different between roadster and coupe/convertible due to drip rail inside opening --- roadsters have narrower lips than the coupe/convertible ---- I bought a roadster lid and tried to install on my convertible and it would not close --took a bit to figure out why -- took me about 2 years to find one that is correct and will fit car but it still need some metal and wood work ---- Allan

  3. Glad you are thinking of me --- it would be fun to dig in the pile -- the rumble seat lids look similar but very different from one car to the next and not many have seen/looked at the differences --AK

  6. The question is and I hate to ask does any one have info on Matt at RICHELIEUMOTORCAR. I was working with him on a car and it is just like he has vanished. I have tried to PM but no reply and part of his posts had vanished …. it had been some time that I had contacted him and not sure what happened --Allan

  8. The floor opening looks like the same as a PA but I did find a picture in the master parts book. (Sorry so dark I am not able to copy) -- but the floor looks very flat and I do not see a hump in the middle. I wonder if changes got done for the floating power mount system on the PA's--Just a thought -- Allan
  9. this is a coupe and convertible ---also my sedan uses the same parts -- they are all for 31 PA's I will start looking for the original toe boars and other parts. I will see what I can find -- Allan

  12. have you done any more digging in your parts haul ?? any pic's of the convertible ??
  13. looks the same as the PA ---- They have 4 pieces of wood and 4 small strips of metal with a metal tunnel hump over the transmission.
  14. Yes I would be very interested in the convertible coupe -- top parts or not -- it would be a good way to complete the projects I have and possibly move on to a new one ---- Allan

  16. I have been working on top Irons and top parts for my car but I would be interested buying a better car than mine or parts that would complete my car it was a field car and very rough.... I do have extra set of roadster top irons for the PA car if you do not find them ... please keep me informed or if you need help ID on parts --- Allan
  17. This would have been a dream come true for me I have been working on 31 PA cars for the last 40 years. still missing parts for my convertible and a sedan that I have had for years. As I look through the pictures I am just it awe of what is see. the side mount fender that i need to complete both sides for my car. Now I see the upper tire mount brackets and support irons. I wish I was closer would sure like to be there to help on the sort of parts. This is a dream come true. It is hard for me to set back here in Iowa and see unfold and not be part of it ----Allan
  18. I work for an auction company and no car is 100% correct -- none -- our late model / low mile 36,000 and under all have something that needs work ---You just buy what you can put up with.
  19. This truck is at a salvage yard in Pella Iowa --- they are good people to deal with --- not sure if you can work on the price but I think it is pretty fair ---- he has many older trucks and cars --Ak
