  1. Car is back up for sale on eBay! See new link above for ebay sale. Thanks!
  2. Matt, your statement about missing your 60S is making me rethink selling this one! :-) I would seriously love to finish rebuilding this one. But that game plan all changed a little while back. If someone else can get it done though, then that would be great. Maybe I'll see it all restored and detailed at a show in the future. Price wise, I'm not sure, hence trying it out on eBay. I know what a nice one goes for, and what a basket case goes for, and I know we won't even get back what we've put in the car to get it back to road worthy, but don't have a firm price on this one. I did set a reserve to start with just to be safe, but that's not locked in stone either.
  3. It was actually the previous mechanic that packed the car for shipment to us. He did more damage than good all around. The perfect condition windshield washer bottle that we saw when we bought the car was found smashed into a million pieces on the floor in the back as well. What a ding-dong. Anyway, my Dad and I both love the 60S. It's a gorgeous vehicle all around. About the seat, we'll have to just figure the car has a seat cover or take a guess as to whether the seat itself is in good condition or not. I couldn't get the seat cover off easily and didn't want to mess with it anymore tonight for risk of tearing it and then making more of a mess. At least right now the seat cover fits well, looks good and is totally presentable.
  4. Bleach, good point. I overlooked the interior because it's all original and we never cared about removing the seat covers. If the front cover comes off easily I'll pull that and have a look. The back you can see most of the seat and I would think the remaining part that is covered is in similar condition. There is a torn spot in the upper portion of the driver's side rear seat that you can see in the pictures. That wasn't there when we bought the car. It happened during shipping when the ding-dong who packed the car up placed the extra original (and very sharp edged) radiator support on the back seat. Otherwise that cut wouldn't even be there.
