  1. Thanks for the information. I have the judging standards book however when I went to the steering column section it just said "Black" without any further information. I also checked the Model A Restores Club website and that produced the same information with it just saying "black". Right now that is the part I'm working on. Any info on what shade that might be?
  2. I'm doing some restoration work to my 1930 Ford Model A and was wondering what is the most accurate shade of black for things like the frame, steering column, front end, etc. I understand there are many shades out there and many people with opinions but to those who have won awards (AACA or MAFCA) with their car what product did you use?
  3. My opinion is you should restore the chassis find a period correct engine and then instead of making a body just make a truck out of it. If miraculously you find a original engine or a original body then switch it over if not then you have a really cool vintage truck. In the depression era they would make trucks out of anything they could find so it would seem authentic. It would be great if someone somewhere has parts for these cars then it would be great to restore them to original.
  4. Thanks! I’m going to get those ordered as soon as possible.
  5. I’m trying to restore my Crosley Hotshot seats currently as well where did you get your seat springs from as well as the clips?
  6. Do the FOR have different gas tanks than other models of Crosley?
  7. Are you still looking for a rear bumper? I have one!
