  1. This is a great car. The paint is irrelevant. It’s a fantastic original thing because it retains all of its original parts and has a good history. Skirted fenders needed to go.
  2. A friend of mine recently found a 1929 Master 6 but it has an odd engine number. It begins with 226 which is not listed anywhere. Has anyone ever seen a ‘29 Buick with a 226 engine number?
  3. Do you still have this for sale? Let me know please. Thanks!
  4. I am looking for a complete V12 engine for a 38 Zephyr. Later engine preferred but not picky. Please contact me if you have one that looks to be useable, serviceable or rebuilt. You can message me through this forum or give me a call or text. Thanks! (203) 218-1903
  5. I would be interested in buying this engine from you if you want to sell it and if it is not cracked between the valves. Let me know! Thanks

  7. And yes, the Model I is a T head four cylinder configuration and the Vanderbilt race cars (16 and 1) are F head configuration like a Mercedes
  8. Guys, firstly the car in the initial photographs in the initial post here is a 1909 40 hp Locomobile Model I. It is nothing special, just a stripped road cr. Same thing in the photo of Robertson sitting behind the wheel. However, Old 16 and number 1 (both #12 in the 06 Vanderbilt cup) are ALAM rated at 90HP. BUT! In actuality these cars produced a real 120HP. I know because my dad, uncle and I owned both cars.
