  1. Here's a rare Canadian only Pontiac. It's a 1968 Grande Parisienne with a factory installed 396/325 hp engine. Oshawa Ontario built and documented. The USA equivalent was the Grand Prix that changed to a totally different body for that year.
  2. People are generally resistant to change is the best way to explain it. Especially when it's going to cost them a lot more money!
  3. The Canadian dollar has risen to around 80.5 cents US Dollar
  4. Don't know his price, but I'd bet it's far greater than actual value. When there's no price it's ALWAYS too high! Sometimes I think it's just the owner wanting to tell the world how smart or smug they really are. No price? No call from me.
  5. I don't know the price or the current value, but can guess it's out of my league!

  7. Looking for help/advice on subject I know nothing about. My friend has a 1935 Packard sedan that needs an engine. It's a 8 cylinder car. I know of someone else who has a 1940 straight 8 Packard engine/ transmission combo for sale in running condition. Are they fairly close as far as doing a retro fit? I'm trying to keep him from putting in the latest fad LS Chevy swap! Any help is greatly appeciated!
  8. Yes it is fair, but I'm not any good at fabrication. I know where there's a good running engine, transmission and rad for reasonable money. Could have it running in a day or two. BUT it needs a skilled metal man & $$$. So I'm out!
  9. Don't know anything about it. It's about an hour east of Port Huron Michigan in Ontario Canada

  11. Another one that was probably worse was a 1959 Corvette with wood shoved into the rotted frame rails and covered with that old timey tar goop "rust proofing". My 1st Corvette purchase was a 1965 convertible with Hooker side pipes put on it to hide the frame rail rust back in 1979.
  12. I remember a dude with a 62 Ford Galaxie convertible with a weak 390 putting 90W diff lube in the engine while it was running and warm as he had it sold to somebody driving from a long distance that he told it would make it home for sure.
  13. This color was called "Persian Lime Metallic" in Cadillac speak. I love it! Had a 74 Eldorado that color.
  14. No, but close. 1964 Pontiac Parisienne Custom Sport 2 door hardtop. With the original 409/425 HP 2X4's, Muncie 4 speed, Posi Trac. 8 of them were built according to GM Canada documents, this is thought to be the only survivor. Original paint, interior, etc. It has been stored indoors all it's time. Current owner has had it for many decades. Next time I get to go out there I'll ask for permission to take some pictures. He's a very nice guy, know's his big block Gm cars inside and out. But doesn't show them. He's a quiet unassuming person with some of the nicest GM muscle stuff.
  15. What's the rarest GM model with a factory installed 409? I'm sure I looked at it yesterday! It has all the documents to back up it's provenance.
  16. Spend 2 hours clearing the overgrown weeds and such. Then take some clear photo's. It will bring much more than $1200 if you spend some time trying to present it! Drag it out where it can be properly seen with a lawn tractor or pick up truck.
  17. No map, but some Monica Lewinski lingerie!
  18. Wanted to drive this, but hasn't been on the road since 1995. runs nice, but old gas etc.
  19. I drove this to north of London Ontario from Thamesford for my friend that just bought it. Original owner bought it new locally. Had to quit driving in 1990's. Sold it to his nephew who is now in his mid 80's and can't drive the old Stovebolt stick shift anymore. Hard to find a one family 1938 Chevrolet Master Deluxe built in Walkerville Ontario and less than 125 miles from the factory 83 years later.
  20. That's a nice clean stock looking 50 Mercury! Refreshing in a sea of chopped, flat black, resto mod's.
  21. One thing I never understood is "will it carry a 4X8 sheet of plywood?" Come on, how often does anyone other than a builder/ contractor/renovator actually need to carry that? If you do, why don't you have a longbox pickup or extended van? If you need to carry that mythical 4X8 plywood once a year I'm sure the lumberyard where you paid thru the nose for it can arrange delivery, or trade a buddy for the day for his pickup for your station wagon!!
