  1. After bringing my lawnmowers to life, I just had to get the '67 Fiat Giardiniera out from winter's sleep and have a ride. Always a head turner - and fun, too!
  2. Probably under one horse power.
  3. Nice car! I'm never fast enough with my camera/phone. A very unusual panel-type truck that I had never seen before (bigger than the IH Metro) drove past and by the time I had my phone out, it was gone. You're quick Keiser31!
  4. I think, for you, building and zoning bureaucracy would be worse.
  5. I want one! Please... Dad bought a brand new 1966 Galaxie 500 and it's the car that I most closely associate with Dad - great memories seeing these cars.
  6. I like the lighted front bumper on this one.
  7. Would love to buy it, but since shop space is limited (and Montana is BIG) until I sell something my wife doesn't like, I'll just avoid the dents. I hadn't thought about customizers when I made the 10% comment F&J. I see now that the missing portion would be unimportant to those folks. It would make a pretty ride with those lines but I couldn't do it (lack of skill besides).
  8. So the engine and transmission only account for 10% of the vehicle? I would count them as more than that. And yes, I love these trucks, too.
  9. He's actually sliding in feet first on a tight curve. Great stunt.
  10. Are we sure it is automotive? I've seen old appliances that have similar trim and the 24" width would work for that.
  11. Might I ask what the other vehicles on the road are?
  12. I believe most of our "other halves" see our cars like boats!
  13. Was this picture taken when they were saying good-bye to their car? Notice all the junk behind the windshield and what looks like a wrecking yard in the background.
  14. The first photo is a just a screenshot from "Driving Miss Daisy."
  15. Looks great! Out of curiousity (and ignorance) would these have ever been painted?
  16. Those little buggers have been known to survive the kiln, milling, and final finishing. Folks couldn't figure out where the sawdust was coming from under their furniture only to find out the ash borer had survived the manufacturing process and were still active! Ugh. Really decimated the ash trees here in Ohio.
  17. My '51 DeSoto had the explorer's head illuminated in the hood ornament.
  18. Interesting bit of "clean" blue and white on that left rear inner door and wheel well. Could be a good starting point on the restoration.
  19. Interesting obversation. I've never seen a steering wheel with the notches like that before. My driving instructor from years ago would've had a fit!
  20. Imagine how valuable they would both be if they were barn finds. Forest finds? Swamp things?
  21. That lense looks "heavier" than what I remember seeing on a bicycle. Of course, I don't have an alternate I.D., just guessing.
  22. I'd say proud owner on the right, freeloading brother-in-law on the left, and no doubt a patient chauffeur in the background. Electric in the back?
  23. I think I would have at least removed some of the mess inside the car before taking pictures. With digital cameras, it is quite easy to retake pictures to replace blurry attempts. This is a car I personally like, but the ad would definitely make me think twice about considering it - probably not fair, but that's just my gut feeling.
