  1. Math, glad you made it back home and didn't have those problem in NJ

    on compressions problem ,

put a couple squirt in cylinder and retest, if it comes up you may have ring problem , if same vale problem ,

use a Differential tester,  it has 2 gages, with piston on top of compression stroke apply shop air, the you can listen to escaping air, either from exhaust or intake,

if this is problem, take side panel for adjustment off you can move valve up and down with a screw driver to see if valve is sticking,  should have clearance on cam.

if still low pull head, take a look at valve seat with valve up, off seat,

    tom Meyers has new valves,

on rear end overfilling,  use 1200 weight in transmission, don't overfill, if still flowing to back, seal is bad on rear of transmission and seal on wheel.

  2. The 16 were actually Plymouth wheels used on the 35, trucks, they are 2 piece rivet like in the picture, are actually stronger design then the 16 on cars, I had the car type on the truck when I first restored it,. Then swap a set of rims with Dan Kerr for truck, Plymouth type,.  Put new tires a tubes,. Then a guy in Missouri was hotroding a 35 , bought 17 from him, got engine , transmission reared and rims, for $1000,  also use different hupcap,

Hotrodder are go for something,.   SPARE PARTS!
