  1. We searched Wednesday through Saturday but no luck. Found a few for 37-39 manifolds but nothing for '32-'33. I did sign up as a VCCA member and met some really nice people there.
  2. Great - thanks for the info! Do you know the space/vendor # of the VCCA member so I can locate him at Hershey? Thanks again!
  3. I want to put a '32 Chevy Intake manifold on my '29 so I can switch it over to a downdraft carb. Do I also need to swap the exhaust manifold out for a '32 or are they the same Exhaust manifold?
  4. Hello - I am restoring a '35 Pontiac with body style number 2109 A. Unfortunately sometime during the life of the car someone took a '60's front truck axle, cut it half because it was too long and then welded it back together with a support plate. One of the leaf springs was also donated from the '60's truck. They also got creative and welded another part (unrelated to the front suspension) to make everything fit together. My Pontiac originally would have had the solid front axle and it appears the '36 Master Pontiacs used the same solid front axle with the elliptical leaf springs. My question is what year and model Chevy's used this same type of front suspension? I am having no luck finding a '35 or '36 Pontiac parts car so hopefully someone can help me. If anyone has suggestions on where I might be able to find this suspension I would greatly appreciate any and all feedback. Thank You!
  5. I am new to the AACA and to this forum so any help would be greatly appreciated. I recently purchased a 1935 Pontiac and it's a super cool car! It has been leaking some oil which I kind of expected for an eighty year old girl. Did some investigating today and the oil is leaking out of the flywheel cover so I suspect the rear main bearing seal is the culprit. I know this can be very labor intensive so I was wondering if anyone has suggestions for a temporary fix such as these No Leak/Stop Leak oil additives? Has anyone ever had success with these type of products and if so which one(s) work the best? Thanks for helping out a Newbie!!!
  6. Hello - I recently purchased a 1935 Pontiac from a Seller in NJ and I need to register the car here in PA. I need some clarification on the antique plates versus YOM plates. I have a PA antique purple plate that I picked up at a flea market. Can I walk into AAA with this plate when I go to do the title transfer and have this purple plate registered for my Pontiac? I am getting conflicting info from some other forums. If not, it appears I can use a 1935 YOM PA plate as long as the number is not currently in use. I found 3 on EBAY and used PaDot's plate availability and it appears all 3 plates on EBAY are not currently in use so I could one of them, correct.? If I do the YOM plate, is the car still considered "antique" and exempt from PA inspection/emissions? Any help would be greatly appreciated for a new member -Thanks!
