  1. Hmmm... I don't think! But possibly it's my glasses I need to change... Some how they focus on red πŸ€ͺ
  2. Thank you, Mike, so nice and I really appreciate your post! We are a team of 4 people on the organizing committee and everyone brings their own skills to organize a cool meeting in Wolfsburg. My part is the "visible" part with the visual communication (Logo, Facebook-Site, T-Shirt designs etc.)... But Rudi and Trond work more in the background and have organized everything with the hotel, program, clarifications with the local authorities, registration form, etc. wich I think, is the bigger part! πŸ˜‰ Trond is the chairman for the ROA Europe and he was the one who came up with the idea of a European meeting and Ray contacted us... Rudi, Klaus and I were so enthusiastic about the idea that we found - let's do this! πŸ’ͺ😜 We cross our fingers so that we can actually do this meeting the way we planed it. It's currently a bit difficult to say with the German Corona guidelines... but we hope the best! If not this year, then the next! Sure, we will post all the pics on Facebook, Flikr (an others like Instagram, etc.) and I hope, we will also have the place for an article in the Riview - Ray will decide about that. πŸ˜‰
  3. Question for a good friend of mine: We live in Switzerland and he is selling his great Riviera '65. I just wonder, how much $ (+/-) this car could achieve in the US... The car is in deed in a perfect shape and he is asking 74k (wich in my opinion is a bit too much). Here is the link to the selling platform with different pics: https://www.autoscout24.ch/de/d/buick-riviera-coupe-occasion?vehid=8412947 and here a YouTube vid: Thank you for your realistic assessments (and reasons). Greetings, Schmiddy
  4. Oh, I just have seen, Mr. Earl already posted that one... Sorry for reposting! (On the other hand, it doesn't matter that much to see this gi... ahmmm, a car like this again! 😜) πŸ‘
  5. I'm very sad to hear that Tom! God be with her πŸ™
  6. Same issue here... on both sides. My turnsignal musst be canceled by hand. I don't know if I possibly forgot to mount a needed little part when I changed my old Steering wheel to the wooden GS steering wheel? Anybody have a picture or a plan who shows a good working turnsignal cancellation? Thanks a lot! Schmiddy
  7. This is a Swiss plate! Long live Elke! 😜πŸ₯°πŸ€©
  8. Wow Nima, I love the stucture of the wood! Looks like tiger maple furniture to me... Your interior looks very nice and clean! Congrats 🀩 πŸ‘
  9. One of my most fav Buick ...beside my 65 Rivi of course! πŸ˜‰
  10. maybe a repost too... I just stumbled over this pic while reading a blog of Nicole Wakelin: https://agirlsguidetocars.com/love-affair-cars-started-old-buick/
  11. Was very fun to read, thanks for sharing! πŸ™‚
  12. Checkout the official FB-Profile of ROA: https://www.facebook.com/groups/BuickRivieraOwners/ ...and search for David Jackson (Administrator of the FB profile): https://www.facebook.com/groups/119154231467114/user/100000383404883 He is the man for such requests. Good Luck!
  13. I thought Opel is the European Buick... I'm I wrong? Looks like an Opel Manta (GT/E)... I guess from 1980. They started to build the Manta (B) in 1975 wich became very popular in Germany (mostly with a Foxtail fixed on the antenna). A lot of jokes came up about its owners who had a pretty bad reputation 'cos of their tasteless tunings. But that one - and the girl also πŸ˜‰ - looks nice!
  14. In this particular case, I definitely agree!!! Damn sexy "Marilyne" on that Buick! πŸ˜œπŸ‘
  15. Sorry the lapsus... clear, George Barris, not Ed Barris... πŸ€ͺπŸ˜† And many thx for the info... πŸ€©πŸ‘ Is this the article you meant? https://www.ckdeluxe.com/barris-villa-riviera/ Very interesting, thanks Ed!
  16. Oh yes Ed, I remember well! There was a very cool article in Riview Vol. 33 No. 1 from January/February of Ed Barris Custom Villa Riviera and that Jeffrey and Ginnie Goldstein now owns the car and brought it to the original Barris Design. I loved the article with a lot of pictures and some amazing stories about that Riviera! πŸ€©πŸ‘ (Beside, it was the Riview issue in that I have been mentioned the first time in "Odds & Ends" for the future series of my own restauration, why I can well remember Jeffrey's great article! πŸ˜‡)
  17. I don't know if we had that one allready? Found it in a German article in the newspaper "Spiegel": https://www.spiegel.de/auto/fahrkultur/buick-centurion-concept-ein-auto-wie-ein-ufo-a-5b02b1be-eda9-46df-b32b-b3b44246c472
  18. Looks great!!! Will order a blue one for myself! Thanks for the share πŸ˜πŸ‘
