  3. Got back to work on my 23 stude touring. I put a new nos oil gauge in several months .ago. Started it and ran great and oil pressure was it was suppose to be. I started again just days ago and have a full stream of oil coming out on the shop floor. I have not looked any further. Is there a bipass or soft p[lug ? Like i said I did not look and it did not leak at all earlier. Thanks Roger It is not the gauge or plumbing to it.

  16. I have a 1923 Studebaker Special 6 Touring 5 pass. Looking for a engine oil pump. 1925 or earlier. The key has twisted off of mine . Mine did have steel gears. Gears or whole pump. Or info on where to go. Thanks Dont feel bad alot of people have told me where to go. Thanks for any help. Roger
  17. I took the screen out and was not to bad on the outside, but the inside was about half full of what looked like bees wax, or hard jelly looking gunk. I did put alot of oil down the oil gauge hole and it never filled up. I dont believe there is a prime plug that I can get to. Could that be a up graded pump, or wrong? The only other plug with a screw driver slot is on the side behind the cast webbing for the motor mount. Should I go ahead and pull the pump? The pump is painted black, not like the block. What do you think now? Thanks Roger
  18. Could one have mounted the pump wrong? there in no way to get to the primer plug? Can one rotate the pump one set of holes or can it only go one way? Thanks
  19. Ok, thanks Ill try that before I get carried away Roger
  20. Ok, thank you very much. Roger
  21. I have not done any thing yet! I have no oil pressuer, I took the line off going to the gauge and nothing. I took the pipe off going into the pump from the gauge and primed it with oil and still nothing. Can I( if needed) put a new oil pump on or gears like 28 or 29. Thanks Roger
  22. I think so does it have STOP in the upper lens?
