I was contacted by a friend of the owner who is helping him sell his very nice original 38 Buick Special Coupe. The owner is a retired machinist and clearly cares about the car, but is no longer able to care for it. Car started right up, and ran smoothly, has a ton of parts for it. Ask is $20k for the car. Also has a 1938 Cadillac Series 60 (Not a 60 Special-This is a BIG car). The manifolds are off of the car due to a leak in the left side manifold gasket and a crack in the exhaust cross over (a good one comes with the car). Owner is asking $15000 for the Cadillac, with two extra engines. Pictures of both are attached. Buick is in the last two pictures. $30k for both. Contact: Gordy (847) 494 1126. The owner is a retired machinist and clearly cares about the car, but is no longer able to care for it. It is very presentable, and comes with a lot of extra parts. Including two complete engines only lacking carburetors. The manifolds are off of the car due to a leak in the left side manifold gasket and a crack in the exhaust cross over (a good one comes with the car). Due to where the car is currently parked i could not see its right side. The grille is presentable and has only minor pitting. The car was repainted black at some point. Given the crazing it appears to have been done in lacquer. There were several match head size areas of surface rust on the left rain gutter. Weather stripping on the drivers door is mostly missing. Interior is presentable. The Radio grille has been replaced with a perforated piece of metal. Owner is asking $15000, with both engines. He also has a very nice original 38 Buick Special Coupe. I love these full length Seville convertibles! Wonder though, why they changed the rear tail lights. Does anyone know?

3 x barn find, Miles are around 40k. However, trim was removed for paint, gauges removed to re-wood grain the dash and heads are off to repair a lifter issue before i bought it. The stenciled vin number is still visible on the radiator shroud & manifolds are in excellent condition. Its Maroon in color from an amateur repaint. Interior is still mostly under seat covers, though there is some minor rodent damage near the floor. The car is pretty straight, no significant dents. Only minor rust is visible in the right rocker and right side of the rear pan. All of the glass is there, though one windshield has a BB hole in it. Needs attention all over, but well worth doing for somebody who has the skills or the money. I've had at least three people agree to buy it for as much as $7500,...but, I still have it. Have more pictures, and can take more if desired. I believe I have everything that has been removed from the car, except the tail lights. Really need to sell it, will consider reasonable offers. Car is in Chicago western suburbs
