That would have made a VERY cool Indianapolis Pace Car back in the day, with those aero windscreens and other sporting pretentions on it. Just the car to carry a few IMS dignitaries around in the back! Craig -
I believe the moderators also had a share in the 'rework' during, and ultimate deletion of the entire post before the miscommunication was resolved. Craig

Usually a 'coupe' has little or no rear seat space, or no rear seat at all like a 'business coupe'. A two door 'sedan' has a fully usable rear seat. This thread discusses a close-coupled coupe vs. a sedan: Craig

It's a 50/50 effort. The kid, regardless of age must also be ready to either experiment or problem-solve on their own. The only way they'll figure out how to make purple, orange or green is to mix the three primary paint colors of red, yellow and blue without having to be shown how. When I was 5, my parents bought me a (real Made in England) Meccano set. They could not pull me away from a friend's older brother's set when it was time for me to come home for lunch. My mom said 'Don't ask for anything else for your 5th birthday, because your getting your own Meccano set!" Craig -

The badge-engineering did not go over at all with dedicated Saab-o-philes who liked the idiosyncrasies of the original product. Slapping a Saab-like grille on a Subaru and a mid-size SUV common platform already shared under different GM brand labels totally alienated buyers and Saab dealers. Craig

I highly doubt it. It will be easier to find Station Wagon kit and modify it into a pickup. Craig

GM gradually cheapened it down to a price with lowball trim material in the late 1970's, and forgot about the higher-end Mercedes Benz and BMW market they once competed in with the Diplomat. In later years, GM destroyed SAAB with brand dilution by badge-engineering, and using crap trim from other divisions, especially this one. 9-7X Aero: LS2-Powered Saab You've Never Heard Of | DrivingLine Craig
