Slip a correct size rubber gas line hose over the top of the overflow tube, if you can and cut off what is not needed.

I have a 1929 REO B2 Mate sedan I heard the ser. # was on drivers side, on the frame, in the eng. compartment, need to know where to look on the frame. ( my frame is rusty). I found the # with help, Thank you.

Take your dist. cap off and move the lever , when it moves the points the same direction as the rotor when you turn over the eng. that is retard for when you start your car. if you
moving the points against rotation of the rotor thats advance. You can use this on all manual timing advance levers

Take out all the spark plugs and turn the engine over slowly, if it turns freely and you have compression on all cylinders you should be OK. The sock might have been used to plug the oil filler tube at one time. Let me know how you come out.

What does a 1925 Maxwell eng. have for a front crankshaft seal? My eng. does not have one.

I plan to use the drive gear housing with the JBweld and a piece of 1 inch copper pipe, for a bushing to fit a 1927 chev. dist. I used the Max. Dist. gear.
