  1. 1933-35 Steyr 430 with Rumble seat, based on the Porsche designed Steyr 30. Only 1250 built, that includes all body styles.
  2. 1925 Amilcar Grand Sport , central gearchange and hand brake as opposite to Bugatti Type 37 etc. Gaspedal in the middle, windshield probably removed for the photo session
  3. Second hand car in Sweden, probably German-Horch or Stoewer
  4. Early 20s British built Rohde, rather sporty and without differential in the rear axle. The fabric bodied saloon i the same company's Meadows engined Hawk, one of the last made before Rhode went under in the early 1930s.
  5. 1930-31 A.J.S. Nine, built by the famous British Motocycle Company. Very short production run for the fabric bodied 4-door saloon, the price was also a bit more expensive than the main competitor's.
  6. The British General Agent Vernon Balls own Amilcar Coupé in 1925
  7. German three-wheeler in New York. Cyclonette tried to got a foothold on the American market in 1910, too. The similar Phänomobil is perhaps better known, it's founder Gustav Hilleri n Saxony had no intention to pay royalties to the Cyklon company in Berlin. But I suspect that it was orginally a French design from 1901. The name Levassor's Widow & J. de Boisse is somewhat confusing, my source indicate that it's the same madame Levassor as in Panhard & Levassor. Of course the German devolopement has a sturdier frame with straight tubes, enventually the Cyclonette/Phänomobil went up to a 1,5 litre straight four, still air-cooled.
  8. 1917 Nelson Sedan body to go with the advanced technology underneath it. Emil A. Nelson designed a couple of years earlier the more well known Hupmobile Models 20 and 32. Again link to the very informative Old Motor site:https://theoldmotor.com/?p=129887
  9. Cute little Dodge with coachbuilt body! I almost posted in this thread a little earlier Maxwell towncar. Not as stylish as this Stratton-Bliss Dodge, but more interesting than Ford Model T town car or landaulette.
  10. There seems to be a survivor:https://theoldmotor.com/?p=70254 Leach Biltwell Motor Co has been discussed on this Forum before:https://forums.aaca.org/topic/285005-what-is-it-20161109-1423/?tab=comments#comment-1539367
  11. Because it was ordered for tiger hunting in India the many lamps were needed. I admit although that it exeptional even for a Maharajah's car.
  12. Late 1910 White with British built torpedo style coachwork
  13. Sporting Fiat, probably a 510S, at a Spanish Motor Show in 1922
  14. British Vauxhall Limousine, some years before the company became a part of General Motors
  15. Finnish architect on continental trip with a Renault tourer in the second part of 1920s
  16. Yes, but I think something a couple of years ago or so...
  17. Remember seeing this same car before, maybe it was also the same photo. It's the windshield frame that strucks me, resembles more like something suiting a convertible from the late 30s onwards than a 20s car
