  3. I can picture Eddie-O, sitting there TOPLESS, after losing his life’s savings on this venture, on a burned charred Hawaii beach, with singed chest hairs, wondering aloud, “ “ Why oh why didn’t I just invest in “ pet rocks “ instead ??? “ Sorry — I am N O T making fun of the Hawaii wildfires…..

  11. Last time I was there, was their first time over 700 trucks… Now over 900 , you say !!! It truly is a remarkable show , people come a long way to show some fine looking and very varied array of Trucks, and as you point out, it is FREE Admission to spectators… Thank you very much, for all of you who posted pictures, to let us see how fine that show is !!!! That “ chick “ checking out the 1907 Logan Truck is Diane, the owner of the two Crosley Trucks !!! She is a doll —- but sorry, guys, she is taken !!! ( not by me —- my friend’s fiancée….) Craig……
  12. The more accepted name is " Strut Rod Bushings " since they really have nothing to do with the brakes!!!! And, yes, of course, I have the 1963 - 1968 Buick Full Size and Riviera Strut Rod Bushings in stock.... And, yes, of course, I have the 1969 - 1970 Buick Full Size and Riviera Strut Rod Bushings in stock.... ^^^ They ^^^ are Very Very Different... 14. The *** A C *** Fuel Pump I have exactly one (1) with the correct *** A C *** markings has a " C G " date code, which is C = 3, = 1963 ; G = 7, = July ===>>> Date Code : July 1963; which is , of course, PERFECT for a 1964..... The people to ask all those other questions, are , of course, all Dead, such that we attempt to answer all those questions Ourselves 60 years later.... That was the Era of when rebuildable style Fuel Pumps were being replaced by Crimp style Fuel Pumps --- so it is entirely Possible that both styles were on the assembly line shelves, and / or different plants had the Crimp style Pumps before Others.... I don't know and I wasn't there to see every circumstance, and neither was any of us who are alive... All I know is what I have, and we have all figured out date codes, because that information is not in any catalogs..... Craig..... Since I H A V E a " C G " date coded *** A C *** 40371 Crimp Style Fuel Pump, I know it exists !!!! I wish I knew how to do the picture taking thing --- to put it in here, to show you all.... But I don't know how to do that.... I am an old school dinosaur.....
  15. That Fuel Pump depicted ^^^ above ^^^ is N O T an original A C Fuel Pump , is clearly aftermarket, and there is a high likelihood it is incorrect, since by 1964 , they were all “ CRIMP “ style Fuel Pumps, and N O T “ rebuildable “ style Fuel Pumps….. I have the 100.00 % correct *** N.O.S. (ONLY) *** A C Fuel Pump , unmolested with the *** A C *** markings, with a “ C G “ date code, which is P E R F E C T !!!! Always best to simply call me —- 516 - 485 - 193five —- Craig…..

  17. Brian M., You are fortunate, EmTee ^^^ above ^^^ summoned me to your rescue…. If you want *** N.O.S. *** U.S.A. Made *** Idler Arm and Center Link —- at more realistic pricing —- P.M. me….. Craig…….

  20. Cutlasguy, Thanks again for all the photos --- you really do an excellent job and we all appreciate it... You give us the distinct flavor of the show.... Unfortunately for me, your depiction of the cars, is why I have been gone from Fords at Carlisle for over a decade.... Nice show , but not too much buying in the swap meet area..., And, of course, truly 1/2 of the show , are Newer Mustangs and T Birds... Virtually N O original 1939 - 1948 Fords, N O Lincolns, very very few 1949 - 1958 Ford & Mercury full size... In your photos, I did see 1 Edsel and 1 Big T Bird ( 1958 - 1966 ), but that can't " entice " me to return.... Maybe, if I lived 10 minutes away, but not coming from Long Island, New York.... I sincerely hope that all of you who went had a good time.... Thank again, cutlasguy, for the video evidence of the show.... Craig.....
  21. A 1969 Dodge Truck D100 —- NEVER —- came from the factory with Disc Brakes —- it was exclusively a Four (4) wheel Drum Brake Truck….. If that vehicle has Front Disc Brake of any variety, it has been aborted…..
  22. Congratulations on your 50th, young man.... I started in 1972, so I am now in my 52nd year !!! No plans (especially now... ) to quit until I have put in 100 years.... ( Of Course, what will my fellow vendors in this hobby look like 48 years from now ?!?! ) Craig.....
  23. He should have purchased Quality U.S.A. Brake Parts from me —- and that NEVER would have happened…. What did happen is a crying shame…. Seeing a beautiful cruiser like that, in that condition, elicits tears from me…. And all the NEW brake parts are a looooooootttt less expensive than the now ruined Used body parts…… Craig…..
