My first car was a 1940 Buick series 40-41. I bought it in Underhill, VT in the early 70's for $250. The body was in great shape with rust in the lower A pillars and the rear trunk pan. The engine was shot and the interior fully depreciated. I never finished restoration and had to sell it before heading off to college. I've always wanted another as I thought the body design was exceptionally pleasing.
In the time since, many other special interest cars passed my garage doors. I have currently retained a 67 Mustang convertible and a 41 Ford pickup. I completed the Mustang restoration in 2014, the truck is underway.
This past week I acquired my second vintage Buick, it is a 1940 model 76C. It will require some restoration to finish the previous owners well performed previous efforts.
