Overdrives are always a good subject! I feel that they make our older cars safer! in saying that they make our cars travel at acceptable speeds to the modern cars ,not to fast but in the same speed range!
It is a interesting combination you have and will be interested how you solve it. But like always you have it under control.

I have removed rubber seal and check to see if the vent closes correctly. All is OK .
So it must be the seal.

I think I have installed the rubber correctly. Can any one confirm I'm correct?

Need advice!
I have trouble in adjusting the cowl vent on a 1955 new yorker. I have fitted a new rubber which I purchased on the internet that was for a 1955 new yorker. I cannot compare it with the original as it was missing when I got the vehicle. I have tried the adjustment screws and hinge bolts but it still won't close fully.
Any advice will gratefully accepted! Terry

Well! Our Dodge rally turned out some great cars, as well as some ring outsider.
We also meet up with Cadillac Club.

Just had a great reunion with fellow members of the Dodge club in Victoria, Australia.
A fantastic turn out of cars! Some I have not seen before.
I think a lot of member were very busy over the covid lock down!
Looking at the agenda for the next few day, it will a great rally!

Well, I figure that you don't have to worry about fuel consumption! As long as you get to were ever your heading and you enjoy the ride!
I have a rally this weekend and can't wait! It has been too long between drinks! Plus I don't care what the cost is,I just want to get out a drive my car!

I'm with you I have had enough! Sick of lockdown! I know it's for the good of the country,but I just want to be able to go and drive my cars with friends! Put my expression of interest with Tom for the Maryborough rally only to find it has been postponed. Sheryl and myself very disappointed. Can't wait for things to get back to normal! I find it hard even to work on the cars,knowing I can't even get to drive them. Just have to push through it and get to better times. Maybe next year rally in the west!

Ron, I have made contact with my friend in Sth. Australia. She said that she will look into it in a couple of days, at present she is on holiday at the Flinders Ranges.

I have mounted a spare wheel on the left hand guard on my senior.
How I mounted it didn't take much . And was very happy with the look!
