  1. This transmission is sold. Thanks, everyone for your offers and input. I'm glad someone could use this.
  2. This transmission can't be shipped, so it must be picked up at my Southampton, MA location. Someone make me a reasonable offer and it's yours.
  3. Thanks Ed for the offer. I'll have to wait and see if this transmission is sold to either interested person.
  4. I'm not going to Stowe, but should you decide to purchase it, I could meet you somewhere along the line.
  5. Sorry Rob, but no, I won't make it to Hershey in the Fall. I'm in Western MA (Southampton)
  6. I'm located in Western, MA (Southampton, MA) probably about two hours from Lake George. You can check out this trans. if you'd like. Just let me know, and I can send you exact location. (413-529-0578) Bill
  7. I'm pretty sure this is a top shifter like Dave has mentioned above. The shifter was located in front of the top plate rather than on top of it. (See photo) The linkage on the side of the transmission was used to control the overdrive/freewheeling mechanism.
  8. This transmission was used on 1935 Desoto Airflow and 1935, 1936 and 1937 Chrysler Airflow. This one was removed from a 1935 Desoto Airflow SG, and it's condition is unknown. I couldn't find any cracks in the case or mounting ears, and it still had oil in the case. From what I can see, it looks pretty good. This transmission was discussed awhile ago in the "Airflow/Airstream" paret of this forum (1935 Desoto Airflow SG Overdrive Transmission?) in case you want to read about it. I'm asking $400 or best reasonable offer. Because of its weight, I will not ship it, so it would have to be picked up in Massachusetts.
  9. Thanks, good idea. I've put it in the Buy/Sell column in the beginning of the forum.

  11. Thanks. It just seems that someone would want or need this transmission, so I'm probably not hitting my target audience. I'll try to run it in "Buy/Sell, Chrysler Products."
