  1. I'm in the market for a 36 to 40 dodge pickup to restore. If you come across anything interesting, please let me know. I'll continue to check back. I may be able to convince the seller of the 36 to part his truck out. Not likely, but worth a try.
  2. Much thanks for the feedback. The seller was not willing to budget on price of 8K. After digging into the truck deeper their were fiberglass rear fenders and other issues with the motor.
  3. What should I be looking for to tell if it's the original motor? Thanks again.
  4. Thanks. I'll definitely reach out. I'll be looking for a grill, headlamps, etc.
  5. I appreciate the feedback. No final decision has been made in terms of what will be done to the truck. I'm meeting the mechanic there today to get an assessment. I'll take much more detailed photos.
  6. Thanks very much for the feedback. The goal with the truck is not to restore it but keep it close to original and modify to V8, change interior, paint, etc. I would end up selling the motor. I would think from that perspective though the price would remain the same as the seller does not know my intentions. Thoughts?
  7. The link will take you to the photos on Flickr. I plan on taking more today. Thanks for the help.http://www.flickr.com/photos/davidbaeza/sets/72157636060174804/
  8. Yes I do. Give me a little time to figure out how to upload or link and I'll post shortly. Thanks.
  9. Hi All. I'm new to the forum, as well as collecting and restoring, so I appreciate the help. I'm looking to estimate the range in value for a 36 dodge pickup in good condition (not excellent), running, very straight, all original with the exception of the grill. It's being offered to me for $8K. If this isn't the right Thread, please point me in the right direction. Thanks for the help.
