Here is picture of one fixture on ebay: I'll get dia measurement really not sure if it is a slight bowl shape or more pronounced similar to a sediment bowl. Just under 2.25 dia. Light fixture is stamped "AURO" (I'm not needing the fixture just the lense) Thanks Dale
Is there the possibility of a bad or no ground between block & frame or body? I got a car back from a shop once & the ground wasn't replaced car would die then start right back up. Turned out the ground was going through the shift cable that eventually became inoperable. Reattached the ground strap between block & firewall & problem solved. Dale
I haven't had to do much under the hood yet but it could use some sprucing up. Now that warmer weather is FINALLY here maybe some smaller chores can get accomplished. Jazzer that block looks squeaky clean! keiser Thank you Dale
Realizing that most on this site are not interested in modified cars I hope not to offend anyone. There is a thread on the Hamb with some very well done cars " Kustom Mopars" Several from the 30's. dale
Here is an article that pretty well explains the od transmission. You just have to use the information for the model transmission you have. Really easy to operate once you understand them. Hope this helps. http://www.fordification.com/tech/overdrive.htm
Great looking car Mark. I agree with your choice to keep it as original as possible. You'll find a world of information here, also help if needed. Glad you found your way here. good luck Dale another Missourin
