Yeah, I don’t think CL limits the photos too badly.

Tom, this car is gorgeous! I’ve been trying to find this exact car for the same reason as the previous owner, it was my fathers first car as well and I know he would love to own one again, and I would love to be the one to get it for him. If you ever want to sell please reach out to me. My name is Brian and I live in NY. My phone number is 5167884264. Perhaps you could even lead me in the right direction to find another, it seems you have had quite a bit of experience with these. Thanks!
Thanks Brian! I really love the colors on this one and feel like I don’t seem them too often. I’ll keep you in mind if I get the itch to sell. I have worked up to this one over the last 9 years or so between buying and selling cars. This is the 4th 1960 LeSabre I have owned in various body styles. Down to just this one now.
As for finding them, like any other you have to just keep your eyes open and check all the usual places. The Buick Buy/Sell forum participants are pretty good about posting when they pop up around the country. The key is finding a good one.

I drove this 71 LeSabre 840 miles home to Virginia from @Smartin’s in Missouri over today and yesterday. Nothing but rain the whole time! It handled flawlessly and reminded just how wonderful these cars are to drive. Put my Spotify on the Billboard Top 100 for 1971 and let it play.
We are both a little tired and waterlogged and it will get a proper cleaning after the monsoons finish.

Did you ever receive enough?

@Centurion I was sure watching this one. Even considered it for an upgrade from my current Ultra. It was lower mileage and a little better condtion. The price quickly jumped to $10k and stayed for most of the auction. Started out this morning at $14.5k.
I wonder what the new owner purchased for? Probably to get a nice low mileage Park Avenue in what appears to be excellent condition to drive for as long as they like.
I bought mine with 31k miles almost 3 years ago. Up to 47500 now. I don’t have to do a lot of driving so slowly adding mileage. I look at alternatives every now and then but it’s hard to find something better these days.

I noticed this car pop up on marketplace yesterday as I am in FL right now and changed my location to catch some local listings. Still a little far from where I am. I notice that the cars here seem more prone to rust on the roof, especially when they are close to the coast.

i just logged and view 2/24 bugle with no issues using firefox. what browser are you using?
I just did the same using my normal browser, Chrome. Blurry and blank pages, can’t zoom in on the pages that load.
I then tried the other browser that is on my laptop, Microsoft Edge and ever loads well and will zoom in as normal. It may be good to find out from our vendor if there is a preferred browser to view it on and let the members know that. Or, if there is something we should do to make sure it works, it would be good to know that too.- 1

I’ll be there. The decision on what I bring may need to wait until closer to the date. Leaning towards the 71 Centurion.

I have the same issue, I went back through all of 2023 and ALL were blurry and most had blank pages
I have had the same issue on my laptop for quite a while. For some reason the Bugle won’t fully load and most of the pages remain blank.
I’ve resorted to viewing on my phone which is much smaller. I guess I may need to go to paper when my membership is up next because I am not reading it as much as I would like to.

My first car was an 86 Limited Coupe in blue.

I don’t know what dealership. I see what you mean about 70s, especially in “u”. I thought the lettering reminded me a lot of the font used on the 60 Buick which is what caught my eye initially.

Attended the show at Hershey on Friday. Saw @MRJBUICK in the Drivers Participation Class. Good turn out despite a rainy morning before the show started.

Took the convertible to the end of summer cruise-in that is held annually in my town. It’s nice because they close down Main Street to park the cars. I am not sure the final number but I was number 213 to enter. While there I saw this nice 49 Roadmaster Estate Wagon and 56 Century. I hadn’t seen either of these cars before.

Must be a BIG ass rock and the same one apparently lots of others here are under😆. If not the Centurion then the ParkAv, or what's ailin the '60 convertible? Just come on dude!
I need to visit the forum more often and not just frequent the few that pop up in my email when new comments are added.
The 60 isn’t prepped for a long trip and I am not that brave. Will work on the details and see if I can make it work. Just a few days before my birthday so, maybe a birthday trip is in order!

Must have been under a rock. Not sure how I missed the info on this one. It’s tempting to make the trip for the one-day event. Not sure if my Centurion will be back up and running to make the trip but, maybe I can be excused if I show up in a Park Avenue?

you can make reservations,,i made mine,,, if the main hotel desk is busy you get transfered to national number
I tried the direct number from two different phones on two different services and it wouldn’t go through. No rollover either. Online worked well though.

Thanks for the reminder! Looks like direct line to the hotel is still not working. But you can reserve with group rate through the link on the event website posted above.

That looks like the same number I called on Friday and was able to reach someone.
Auction Sale- 1996 Regal Custom Gold Edition
in Buick - Buy/Sell - Not Mine

I hadn’t seen this before. I know they did an Olympic Gold edition in 1996, but this looks more like some sort of dealer customization.
