  1. Sorry Padgett, I mistyped the color names - the pink as noted is P/N 1642275. That part is the one they are still selling at Endicott. The black one, P/N 1642274, they do not sell anymore. Apologize for the confusion - I edited my post to correct that information.
  2. Jim Finn had the two inverters as requested. So I ordered the parts through him - should be getting the inverters sometime this next week. As for Endicott, the sales rep got back to me. They no longer sell P/N #1642274 (black), it’s been obsolete since 2009. They do however still sell P/N #1642275 (pink), and have that in stock. If more quantities are needed, they can do a higher volume order - for just one inverter I was quoted $100. It may possibly be a little cheaper if there is a higher volume or group order.
  3. I’m in North Dallas, just south of Frisco. Luckily they’ve been loosing the COVID restrictions here and opening up all of the businesses, so if you come back to visit there should be a little more to do - though still not to the level it was before March. Where in Texas are you located? Are you located in Sunnydale as well?
  4. Thank you for the info Daves89. I emailed both Jim and Endicott sales team today - I’ll let you know when I hear back from either one of them. I wish I could have been a part of the group buy back when you did it, hopefully it won’t be an issue trying to hunt down a couple inverters.
  5. The pop up sunroof has been VERY handy so far. The A/C compressor is leaking right now, so I'm having to source a replacement for that as well. I need that before the weather starts hitting 100 degrees consistently come July... Thank you so much padgett. I sent a couple emails to their sales team to see what/if they have those inverters available. I will update as soon as I find out.
  6. Thank you rogold99. I did stumble upon this troubleshooting article when I was searching through the forum, and based on what I'm seeing with my Reatta I think it's possibly the inverters that are failing. The backlights for the headlight switch column and wiper/defrost column do not illuminate at all, but the dimming switch does work properly for the instrument cluster and CRT screen when any light switch is turned on. So that would seem to rule out the photocell problem if I read the article correctly. I've tried doing some research into where I could possibly find the inverters for purchase, and this is where I'm hitting a dead-end.
  7. Hello everyone! Making my first post on the forum. (I know it says I've been a member since 2013, but my Reatta has been mostly kept in storage/sitting during this time). I've been here in the North Texas area for a couple years now, and decided to have my 1989 Buick Reatta shipped down to me from Seattle where my family lives! Wanted to give myself a summer car to ride around in here in Texas, and do some nice weekend trips. I just received my car last week here in Texas, got the fluids all flushed out and replaced a couple gasket seals - it runs like it never sat now! So, to my quick question - one thing I have noticed is that the instrument lights (headlights, wipers, defrost buttons) do not illuminate any longer. During the start up "dance", there is no illumination. They occasionally flicker on for a second or two when I have the lights on while driving, but then they will cut out for long periods of time, or just never illuminate. The dimmer slider works to dimming/brightening the instrument panel itself, the CRT screen, or the fog light/headlight pop up buttons when any of the park/fog/headlights are turned on. I also noticed that the trans selector light, window up/down light, and side mirror lights do not illuminate either. Is it possible the two inverters are failing for the panel lights? I also get the B122 and B123 codes during the diagnostic check. I've tried searching to see if any inverters are available, but I haven't had such luck yet. Any insight would be a tremendous help. Thanks everyone!
