  1. A very clever invention, rearview mirror on a wind wing !!
  2. Distance for bolt holes on the two support arms, at base of mounting?
  3. What is the circle diameter of the face where wheel would mount? Perhaps 6", 5 1/2" or other?
  4. Several compression horns and whistles used spark plug adaptors to provide pressure for operation. Remember the wolf whistles, Steam train, and Buell Turbo Horns. Buell had small turbines to power the horn sounds. The control to operate them, a pull cord, did not require electricity.
  5. I have a NOS one, It is a horn operating lever that has a long wire to the horn. Look closely at middle of handle there is a little pin the wire attaches to. Mounted on steering column you pulled lever to operate horn, vacuum or electric.

  7. It is very pleasing to learn and then to see two companies recommended. I learned about Apple on this site, told my friend Jim, he sent his 1940 Buick front shocks, they had rebuilt exchange on the shelf and he had them installed with in a week.   8. As I recall, 1919 and '20 had lipped fenders. And '21 and '22 had curved lip fenders. sure hope I am remembering correctly.
  9. The small triangle cover on brake drum is a feature of Hudson and Essex wheels. Used to test clearance of shoe lining to drum. Use wheel diameter to determine tire size, and hub cap thread size for determining year. Pin stripe on wheel looks familiar.
  10. A friend has a 41, large cooler on rear floor, 12 volt battery in trunk, pump, and switch . With only he and wife and the car loaded for trip to meets, the cooling does work. wife like it ! Cost of ice is minimal for the few trips taken.

  12. They certainly look right. '32 Essex Terraplane and '33 Terraplane 6 wheels. 4 bolts 17 inch '33 Terraplane 8 wheels were 17 inch

  14. I took a pictures, of part of pages with I phone. sent it to my email, then copied it to the AACA message. When I go to AACA site it opens up for me, to read it.
  15. chart 1, 3 COM is the hottest one shown chart 2 3 COM is the hottest one shown chart 3 3 COM is referenced to W18 chart 4 3 COM is referenced to 20 or w20 chart 5 3 COM is the hottest one shown Other charts are double posted. That is all the info I have as of now. Hope it helps

  17. 29 Hudson , 30 Essex had 19 inch but hub cap much smaller 29 had 10 spoke wheels. Triangle flap on drum face is for checking adjustment of brake shoes However I recall Jackson as a wheel supplier What is inside diameter of brake drums?? other ideas
  18. Disappointing news just received the email. with 56 continuous years of attending, I believe I will go any way, take a selfie and have 57 years in a row at HERSHEY during Hershey week. Neve give up !!!
