  5. I agree as it seams to have partition in it ( the wood frame near the middle piler ) .
  6. My Mercedes Benz 230 from 1976 lists a oil bath air cleaner for cars operating in very harsh dusty climates , they say to clean it daily as needed . bob

  9. Yes i did but only two lines at the time , but to day all of it has now come up . It is Friday late here to day , will put in post Monday morning with some info for you on brakes . Bob

  11. with the current work load in the last few days I have not been able to go to the parts storage shed but will do so before the end of this week , so you want one anti rattle bracket and one adjustable shoe bracket . only two items Bob
  12. Is this car a 124 or 128 as there are two pumps used on these cars .

Oldsmobile looks good ,could be an Australian built body as there appears to be a body makers plate in lower front cowell corner, may be Holden and the one piece screen , an Australian thing ,body looks long enough for 7 seater . just my thoughts Bob. ps will see if I can some pics of Holden body Oldsmobile in Australia . Step plates look good for here ,you know that we have big boots down under !!!!!!
  14. TRY EARLY DODGE BROTHERS ? Motor from front looks similar but the mud gards do not have and raised center to them , just a thought Bob

  16. The same magneto drive system I have seen on a series 140 Standard Six engine that was used to run a saw mill . Bob
  17. In the 126 series cars on export magneto ignition was common in countries where battery charging was not easy to do . In the Northern Rivers region of N.S.W. I have seen about 7 or 8 of these set ups on 126 cars . There was also a magneto set up for the 128 series cars as well , will find sum pics of this. Magneto ignition is listed in the parts books for all these cars ( 126,124,128,and I have seen one on a 140 .) Bob
  18. I have only seen one gear box that good , and that was after I put all new gears in it and than 300.000 miles later I sold the car , should have kept the gear box !!!!!.
