  1. I have 9 40 spoke Kelsey Hayes wheels that are in need of repair and or restoring. Some have been use as parts wheels and some are to rusted and need a full restoration. I need help for someone that has done wheel restoration before. I am not so sure how to start on the project. So I have few questions and more to come. 1. Where to buy replacment spokes? 2. Is there a special spoke wrench or the regular 11/32 open end? 3. If your replacing a few spokes. How tight do you tighten them? 4. Ideas on how to build a wheel truing station? 5. Ways to remove a spoke the has rusted nipples? 6. Any other tips or hints? Web sites, Books, ect I have time and can do most car repairs but have never had wire wheels before. Thanks for any help or ideas. Dave
  2. This is a real 1964 (only year) Eldorado Trumpet Horn for sale. It is stamped with the part # 896 12V. It is in very nice condition with no dents. It has it original mounting brackets. The one on the end and the one clamp it the middle. It works like it should. You will not find another one for sale unless someone is parting a 1964 Eldorado that has one, which is not likely. They made repop right hand mirror but never repoped the Trumpet Horn. Price for that $50,000 car that is missing the horn! $550. + shipping. Email at nogas2day@gmail.com

  6. Curti, Thanks for the reply. I have had 4 Delco Remy Trumpet Horns. If your are stamped Delco Remy Type S one the head side. You will find on the other side (as your photo is) between two rivets 3 numbers and 12V. Does your horns have a plug type elect connection or a screw type? And on the bell end there is 1/8 hold drilled in every one I had. Thanks. Dave
