  1. Wow, thank you! You are pointing me in directions I have never thought about. I guess these could be Cadillac parts like the others, but they came from places that were 1000 miles away from each other. I will still look and see what I can find. Thanks again ! Scott
  2. Wow... thank you so much. A mystery that took almost 10 years to solve. I really appreciate it.
  3. That is a good idea... The way they are mounted by screws, they do look more like trim parts than grill parts. I have had these since 2013 and have looked at pictures and searched through numbers many times over that time. I may regroup and look at sides of cars...They do have a Packard look. Thank you!
  4. Chromed trim parts. Cast on the back is E-80326 RH and E-80327 LH. About 27 7/8 inches long each. Thank you in advance for any help with identification.
  5. Four (4) chromed parts. The smaller pieces are about 9 inches long and the longer ones are 13 and 7/8 inches. Casting numbers are 1425814 RH, 1425815 LH, 1426002 RH, 1426003 LH. I have no idea what they might be to. Thank you in advance for any help.
  6. I have had several parts over the years with the XO or X0 stamped on them. Most are Studebaker, but they have also been both Lincoln and Mercury parts. The holes look like they would fit an old Lincoln logo. It looks like a fuel door, but I couldn't find one that looked like that. I wonder if it could be some other kind of cover like an ashtray?
  7. I know on GM and Ford cars, the engineering number was often similar to the part number. But, I think these numbers matching may be a coincidence. Thank you again, Scott
  8. Well, I went to the storage building and pulled these out. Sadly, the numbers are correct. It is odd that these would be one digit off from other part numbers for a visor. But, I looked at some 12th Series cars, and I am pretty confident that these didn't come off a car that fancy. It is unusual to have any of these brackets have only two mounting holes. Almost all have 3. Thank you again for your research and help. I really thought you might have solved the mystery. Scott
  9. I think I better check those numbers.. I am a little dyslexic when it comes to transcribing numbers sometimes... Thank you!
  10. I got this in a lot of parts from a guy who labeled everything, and was a very smart guy about cars. But, I have never been able to figure out what this is, or if it is simply mis-labled. Aluminum hinge. It looks like it might be some sort of exterior sun visor part, but I don't know. Thank you in advance.
  11. Right and left sun visors. Stamped on the brackets is 328844 PAT 1937 and 328845 and PAT 1937. These came from a collection with a lot of MoPar and a few Packard parts. But, I have never been able to id them. Thank you in advance for any help.
  12. I got 2 of those little comb looking things to measure threads. I "think" they are 24 Standard. But, I am not 100%. I measured it and it is about 15 inches long and 4 and 3/8 inches tall at the longest and tallest points. The rectangular hole that I assume is for the lens is 5 and 7/8" x 2 and 3/4". Thank you for your help on this. It has really stumped me.
  13. Wow.. that is a good question. I used to have one of those little tooth things to measure threads, but I can't find it. I have a hole sizer and the studs are 6 mm and a little loose in the 1/4 hole. I will see if I can find the thread thing. Thank you for the lead. I don't think I looked at many foreign cars to see if it might go on one of those.
  14. I have had this about 10 years and have never been able to figure out what it was. The guy I got it from said it was Thunderbird, but I could never find it on one. Thank you in advance for your help.
  15. I think it is a fender ornament for a 47-49 Studebaker. The one I had was stamped 7719 SM.
  16. Measurement from center of knob rivet to center of mounting hole is about 3 and 3/4 inches long. Square Hole is 1/2 inch.
  17. Thank you in advance for any help. Measurement from center of knob rivet to center of mounting hole is about 2 and 5/8 " Long. Has a treaded collar that is about 3/4 of an inch in diameter.
