  1. I believe a Hudson Italia just sold at the RM/Sotheby's auction at Fall Hershey. It would have been much more "rare" to me if it would have been painted a more desirable color, and not tan...
  2. All this work done in the last ten years and the seller can’t reinstall the carb and get it running?
  3. Could have lots of fun for a reasonable buy-in! Interior looks great, new top, what’s not to like?
  4. I love the black ‘63/4 Buick Riviera & the ‘66 Impala Super Sport!
  5. One of my all time favorite museums! My sincere condolences to Peter’s family and friends…
  6. What kind of car is the filthy light blue(?) close coupled sedan(?) with the trunk and rear tire mount in photo #3?
  7. I think this Hudson would be more stunning if the colors were reversed!
  8. Thank you, Walt! You are welcome to rejoin the Franklin club anytime! Enjoyed seeing the Derham you restored at the Trek this year! All the best! Greg
  9. If the "interior perfect condition," please take the blanket off before you take the photos and prove it to us!
  10. My daughter just returned to JMU today for the fall semester! Next time we’re there to visit I will definitely check this building out…
  11. Last time I was out in LA I toured the Peterson, including “The Vault,” and the Mullins! Both are can’t miss! Prices are high and reservations are required at the Mullins, but it keeps out the riff raff and school groups…
  12. Dziadzi is what my sister and I and our four cousins called our mom’s father! It’s a Polish version of Grandpa…
  13. In the morning I drove my friend John’s Franklin (that’s him on the left and my wife, Virginia, on the right). In the afternoon I was the navigator for my friend Steve, who drove myself and a few others around Schenectady during the 69th Annual Franklin Trek! Thank you John & Steve!
  14. Buy the Kroil in a quart or gallon can and just put some in a small squeeze container with a narrow tip and you can squirt a little bit exactly where you want it!
  15. KROIL is my go to penetrant! Expensive, but worth the money! Over $100/gallon, but I put some in very small soft squeeze bottles with needle dispensers, much easier to pinpoint instead of spraying all over with an aerosol... Much great advice above! Please come back when you get the head totally off and let us know your findings!
  16. When you are driving AJ, I would have it on to act as a sentinel while guiding you down the road. Of course, if you leave the car unattended, how quickly can you swap it out to the plain cap?
  17. Interesting how the wire wheels are interlaced with thick and thin spokes! I can’t recall seeing that before…
  18. The gray retractable seatbelts kind of stick out like a sore thumb in an otherwise beautiful tan interior… Don’t get me started on the steering wheel cover from KMart! Then there are the ancient looking tires.
  19. Don’t do it, Deac! Put down that phone now! Stop wasting time dreaming about your next project and finish what you have started! No need to thank me, we all have the disease…
  20. Just to be clear, is it a Buick or Franklin wheel/rim?
  21. Looks like Willow Green! I love that color on LM’s! I also spotted a clock, front and rear bumper guards, and an oil bath air cleaner…
  22. Sad... I'm a 40+ year Corvair nut, and that '65 500 coupe looks savable to me! Appears to have a 110 per the emblem on the rear deck lid. Can you get it out of their whole ArticBuick and add it to your stash?
