How do you determine if your car is "rare"?
63RedBrier replied to 7th Son's topic in General Discussion
I believe a Hudson Italia just sold at the RM/Sotheby's auction at Fall Hershey. It would have been much more "rare" to me if it would have been painted a more desirable color, and not tan... -
I love the black ‘63/4 Buick Riviera & the ‘66 Impala Super Sport!

One of my all time favorite museums! My sincere condolences to Peter’s family and friends… -
I think this Hudson would be more stunning if the colors were reversed!

Last time I was out in LA I toured the Peterson, including “The Vault,” and the Mullins! Both are can’t miss! Prices are high and reservations are required at the Mullins, but it keeps out the riff raff and school groups… -

In the morning I drove my friend John’s Franklin (that’s him on the left and my wife, Virginia, on the right). In the afternoon I was the navigator for my friend Steve, who drove myself and a few others around Schenectady during the 69th Annual Franklin Trek! Thank you John & Steve! -

Buy the Kroil in a quart or gallon can and just put some in a small squeeze container with a narrow tip and you can squirt a little bit exactly where you want it! -

KROIL is my go to penetrant! Expensive, but worth the money! Over $100/gallon, but I put some in very small soft squeeze bottles with needle dispensers, much easier to pinpoint instead of spraying all over with an aerosol... Much great advice above! Please come back when you get the head totally off and let us know your findings! -
When you are driving AJ, I would have it on to act as a sentinel while guiding you down the road. Of course, if you leave the car unattended, how quickly can you swap it out to the plain cap?

63RedBrier replied to 147 Franklin Airman's topic in General Discussion
Just to be clear, is it a Buick or Franklin wheel/rim? -
There's a Corvair Covertible in there.
63RedBrier replied to Dandy Dave's topic in General Discussion
Sad... I'm a 40+ year Corvair nut, and that '65 500 coupe looks savable to me! Appears to have a 110 per the emblem on the rear deck lid. Can you get it out of their whole ArticBuick and add it to your stash?
