  1. I have a set of 5 useable hub caps off a 35 model 77 sedan for sale. pictures available on request. These are the only parts I have left from the car and if you are the actual buyer of the car they are free.
  2. MY 1070 is handled the same way. The only thing I am unsure of is how it all attaches behind the dash to the control lever. Currently it is all off the car.
  3. I have a 56 Power Hawk that needs restoration. Car is complete with some rust in the floor and trunk. Solid rust free front fenders, a NOS left front fender skin, spare hood, trunk and rear fenders. All new weather stripping, door sills and a completely rebuilt engine. I was asking $2500.00 for it and told that is too high. Thoughts?
  4. OK,I have a 1932 Nash and the wheels share the same bolt pattern as some Dodge's, six bolt pattern. So, my Nash has a stump pulling gear ratio and is really maxed out at 45-50mph, not that I want to turn it into a speed demon, I just want to rear end that will allow it to handle 55 mph without stressing the engine so much. A junk yard near me has several mid to late 40's mopar cars just need a place to find gear ratios to see if they will work.
  5. Looking for a source that will tell me what rear end ratio's Dodge offered in different years, any suggestions?
  6. I am interested anything left over from the street rod, what would you have?
  7. Looking for a decent rear splash apron for my 32 I226. My car suffered a rear end years ago and the splash apron lost.
  8. I have the whole hood if interested.
  9. SO, I have a 1932 I226 coupe currently under restoration. I have only seen one other one and that is the one that came out of Bill Harrahs collection. when he had it, it was tan and brown, the car is currently red. The red one is always advertised as one of two known to exist, please tell me who has the other as mine has been in private hands since 1969 and I really doubt any knows of its existance. Anyway, wondering what its value might be. running gear is fully restored. body work and interior need completed. Body is fairly rust free and wil not be hard to finish.
  10. Dont remember when I saw the car, guessing 8 to 10 years ago at the ACD Reunion in Auburn In. Old friend of mine, known him since was 11 or 12. anyway, Well known Duesenberg restorer Joe Kauffman brought the car upto Auburn just having finished the restoration. Car was done in a blue over black with grey interiour. relatively small car as I remember with a vacuum assisited gear selector. The selector mounted to the steering column and was a peice of backlite plexiglass with a lever coming off of it, much like that moved much like a modern column mount automatic transmission gear selecter, giving out a little "poof" each time it was moved to the next gear from the vacuum leak when the shifter was moved. For some reason I think the car came out of the Pollard collection but dont quote me on that. My understanding was the car was sold to a museum after that weekend. fun little car to drive though.
  11. this thread is old, but I have info on the car if anyone is still interested. It does exist and it fun to drive but it does NOT have a very tight turning radious.
