  7. Essox, Do you have the outer dimensions of your tank? Is it held in with straps? Where is the fuel fill located? Do you have a picture of your old tank? PM me with as much information and I will see if a tank is available for you. Thanks, Pat
  8. Attached are photos of the new gas tank that I will be installing in my '33 Series 50 chassis. It may not be an exact duplicate but it is very close to the original. It has the same outer dimensions and is using the stock straps. If anyone is interested I can give you more information on the tank and where to purchase one. Thanks, Pat
  9. Pat, I had a chance to check out the brakes and drums that I have, they measure 13" in diameter, smaller than your 14" but maybe an option. Pat
  10. Hi Pat, I have a set of drums (front and rear) from a '33 50 Series that might work if the 60 Series don't. I can do some measuring if need be. Thanks, Pat
  11. Thank you for your information Outlaw, I have located the pitman seal, I will post the Napa p/n as soon as I am able to, I have located the bronze bushings and have found material to make the seal that mates the steering tube to the box. I would prefer to have the correct seal, I will try and contact Lincoln 12. I am also looking for a very good to excellent steering wheel if anyone has one they would like to sell. Thanks, Pat
  12. I disassembled my steering box, 1933 Series 50, and have a few questions. Does anyone know where seals and bushings may be purchased? I will need a pitman arm seal as well as both bushings. I have a cork gasket that fits very well in the recess of the main box between the box and the pitman shaft housing. The bearings and worm gears look good. I will also need the seal that fits at the bottom of the steering tube going into the box. I may want to replace the bushing at the top of the steering tube if that is available. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Pat
  13. Bob, Thanks for the information, my front pins have approximately .005" difference to the brass bushing. The threaded bushings have more slop than that, haven't measured but probably at least twice as much. I purchased the front bushings from Mac last year but I have not purchased the rears at this point not knowing what was allowable. Pat
  14. I am currently working on a 1933 series 50 chassis and have a question on screw bushing tolerances. I am building this from the ground up and would like to understand how worn the leaf spring bushings are. Does anyone know how much "play" is acceptable? Up and down movement of the pin while in the bushing. I have attached a picture of the bushing set. I also have a question of how much is allowable for the 3 pins on the front leaf springs. These pins go into the brass / bronze bushings. Same up and down movement. Does anyone know if anyone is reproducing any of these pins? Or possibly undersize bushings to make up for the wear on the pin? I have attached a picture of the pin. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks
