  1. I first noticed it in October. Their last 3 photos are of my Riview article on the red one I brought to the Gettysburg meet
  2. Anyone have the build date, vin, or data plate on Andy’s car handy? I have it in my archives up north but I’m in the Caribbean now.
  3. Do we know when the very first Gran Sport Rivi was made?
  4. Yes, very cool. My favorite ‘70. Someone should manufacture that grill.
  5. Mike, I had to get creative in order to make it not so noticeable.
  6. Mine has been there since the original owner had it installed in the ‘70s. It gets hot here in Florida and he used to pull a boat.
  7. Bondzmen claimed his has all the options, not me. But I do have the Road wheels for it too. I’m just showing a good example of what a small emblem looks like.
  8. All snug in their beds while visions of sugarplums danced in their heads...
  9. TA and Waldron seem to be the best. I have TA 2.5 inch exhaust and TA shorty headers on my ‘69 with good effect. Plenty aggressive and loud enough for me. I think 3 inch would get old real quick on a long road trip. Build quality is terrific. But no room for the H-pipe if you want it tucked up tight.
  10. I have a Riviera ash tray. Now that’s a match!
  11. This forum is now somewhat less interesting. In fact, it’s becoming passé. All the action seems to be on the Facebook groups.
  12. Were they in fact given, or just taken, from the ROA website? Do we know?
  13. If only she had been driving a Riviera...
  14. 69 and 70 have the same console and dash, so probably the same seats.
  15. Not yet. Still working through the mechanical systems. A lot of codes were stored but its reset now and I’ll wait to see what faults recur. It almost caught on fire last week; perhaps I should’ve let it go up in flames.
  16. It’s official: the Jag is a money pit. Several thousand dollars spent and it’s still not right. Plus I can’t find the parts I need. Buicks are so much easier.
  17. I ordered one for my library but haven’t received it yet.
  18. Any idea to which generation of Riviera this new look refers? I’m guessing it’s from the ‘70s
  19. The UAW strike over health insurance benefits began on Friday September 1964 and ended October 27-28th or so. I’ve only ever seen one data plate with 10E. Never seen any firm figures on lost production
