  1. Ok just a few things. Firstly we are not a dealer, we're a small privately owned English restoration company and we've spent the last 28 months meticulously restoring this beautiful car. We don't know what the car is worth – who does? The value is only dictated by how much someone is willing to pay for it. We've tried to find how much the last one sold for but can't find when the last one came to market, so we have to test the market. It’s as simple as that.
  2. Sorry all, perhaps I should have been clearer. We are based in the UK. The car has an American title. We'd consider offers in excess of £300k.
  3. Iconic rare 1941 Buick Hollywood Woodie For Sale This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own one of the rarest and most iconic Woodies. Designated Model 49, the Series 40B ‘Woodie’ six passenger estate wagon was the least produced with just 838 leaving Flint and of those only a dozen are thought to be enjoying roads today, making them highly desirable. We are based in the South East of the UK. The car has an American title. We'd consider offers in excess of £300,000. For all enquiries please contact info@rie-store.com
  4. Hi Joe, We used a company called Sawmatic. Regards Stuart
  5. Thanks for the leads. In the end we had the finger joint tooling made for us to meet the specifications so if you are looking to get some joints made then I can help!
  6. On 4th October 2013 we will have finished the 99.9999 point restoration (apparently there's no such thing as a 100 point restoration!!) of a 1942 Harley Davidson XA. As you will know, these rarely come up for sale - we did notice one recently that appeared on eBay but it was littered with mistakes but still fetched a good price. This will be the 5th XA that we have restored - the last being listed on our http://www.rie-store.com website and selling almost as fast as it was posted. We're also in the middle of restoring 3 more for The Wheatcroft Collection so our workshop is a sight to behold wi
  7. Hi all, Does anyone know where I can buy the finger joint tooling machinery for a 1941 Buick Woody? Best regards Stuart
  8. I'm new to this forum so would just like to say "hi" and introduce you to RiE-Store - we're a classic and military car and bike restoration company in the UK. To date we have been concentrating on American WW2 military staff cars and bikes but are slowly moving into the classic car market. When I say "slowly" I'm really just referring to the time it takes to restore some of the military cars - we're not cutting corners and have taken our time to refine our skills. I think it shows in the results. We've collected a sizeable volume of cars, some of which we are selling as project cars, some of w
