can anyone tell me where I can get pre formed brake lines for my 49 buick?

I am going to change car body from one chassis to a better one, my question is the body I want to put on a good frame has a lot of body rot should I first replace floor pans and rocker panels first or after I transfer body to better frame

Ok, so the steering column stays on the Gear box and you take off steering wheel and remove column thru firewall to front of the car, right

can anyone tell me how to remove the steering column from a 49 gear box, I need to remove it so I can get the body off, thanks

looking for a good head for a buick 248 motor, mine cracked

got some bad news today, im rebuilding my 248 motor for my sedanett and I was told that the head had 7 cracks in it! I need to get another head, does anyone know where or who maybe selling one?

took the 39 to church today, on the way their it started to cut out I turned around and headed home and it got worse on the way home, after I got home I shut it off, then started it back up, it was a little hard to start but it did, it idle ok but then I heard it miss a little, I cked all the plug wires all on tight no loose wires, it has a full tank of gas, air temp 60, water temp 180, 39 ran strong yesterday around town, do I need a fuel pump? thanks sherwood

can anyone tell me how lean out carter carb ,still running rich, I rebuilt carb, new plugs went 1 hotter, set timming, added a aftermarket hi-floe air cleaner, starts up just fine idles great, idle & main screws set 3/4 out
