  1. I have a 1937 D5 sedan and asking does anyone know if there were factory side mirriors or is this just a after market type option? "peep" mirriors.... & thanks in advance, for any input??
  2. How much do you want for it? Does it run?
  3. I thought the lead in the gas helps cushion the valve seats, all the newer engines have hardend valve seats I use a lead additive for this and no to mention what ethanol does to the carb parts ect, just my .10 cents worth.
  4. I just agreed with Taylormade and that's all....
  5. maybe on top of the frame on the left front, around the body mount just tryin to help; on mine its on the engine block D5

  7. I have used peppermint oil; on 3 -4 cotton balls in old washed up tuna cans put few drops on each cottonball one can infront on floor, back seat floor, in the trunk and on top of engine and every few weeks add more drops the mice do not like the smell and also makes the car and shop smell better has worked for me the last several years also leave the car shut up tight look for any place they can come in plug with steal wool. I tried dryer sheets and irish spring bar soap the mice just chewed it up. my car is stored in a non headed dirt floor shed

  11. Also donot forget to grease the axle bearings just on the inside of spring shackle on rear side of the axle tube, there is a plug to remove and pump in grease
  12. Try using peppermint oil on cottonballs in clean old tuna cans. I put one in trunk, on the floor both front & rear, and on top of engine check every few weeks the mice donot like the smell. Have not had any problems the last couple winters. Hoping this helps.
