  1. 1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V Collector series Clear title Low miles Excellent condition Rides and drives better then a new lincoln Leather interior fully loaded with every known option of 1979 This car receives as much attention as my other Lincoln's from the '50's and '60's and is far more comfortable and reliable to drive; regularly making long distance trips Being 35 years old obviously the car is not off the showroom floor new, but will thoroughly please the new owner An excellent investment for the future, as older classics have proven ( remember the price of a '59 Cadillac before they were icons of the '50's now commanding up to six figures!) Asking $6,750 OBO Located near Charlotte NC Serious inquires 70874-438-0060
  2. 1962 Chrysler Newport Sedan White exterior Red Interior VIN:8123138959 361 cu.in. Big Block Vee-Eight engine, producing 265 real horsepower. Torqueflite automatic transmission, Centerplane power brakes and power steering where standard equipment in 1962. Great Barn/ Garage find this car has been stored in a Barn since the 1980's. The body is nice and straight with minor rust in the lower quarters of the front fenders. The stainless and chrome is in very nice driver quality. All the glass is good except for the rear passenger side glass which has been broken. The interior is very nice but could use a good cleaning and freshining up, and the space-age dash looks very nice. I have had this car for a number of years, but have never tried to get it running, I just don't have the time, so I can not attest to the condition of the car's drivability. This is a great father and son project, or summer project. With a bit of money and some time this car could be on the road and being enjoyed. Barn find cars are hard to find and getting rarer by the day don't pass this one up ghhatley@hotmail.com 704-438-00six0. Condition Disclaimer: All used vehicles should be assumed to have some degree of wear. I do not manufacture this car. Each vehicle brand has its strengths, styles, tendencies, and shortcomings. Therefore, despite my best efforts to verify a vehicle's mechanical condition, we are not able to warranty a manufacturers workmanship or a previous owners diligence in care. It is for this reason that all vehicles are sold "AS IS" and there are no mechanical guarantees expressed or implied. any item that is 50+ years old unknown issues may arise and all buyers understand and agree fully to any and all terms and conditions.
  3. Yeah it is a great car and having a nice documented history and good previous owners really helps with feeling comfortable with the maintenance. The "Collector Series" has puzzled a lot of people. It seems to be professionally done not just glued on and the gentleman that owned it would have had no clue how to attach that or make the car look like that. His widow who is now in here late '80's told me they did drive it off the Lincoln lot just as it is. I wonder if it was a dealer add on. The car has almost every option, and I like the "Collector series" color scheme with the better 460 V8. If you know anyone thats interested pass the word along. I collect late 50's- early 60's Lincolns. I bought this one just to enjoy for a bit and sale.
  4. 1978 Lincoln Continental Towncar Only one owner 65,185 documented original miles Awesome time capsule of the disco era Up for sale is a beautiful 1978 Lincoln Continental Towncar Only 65,185 documented miles 1978 Lincoln Continental Towncar The Lincoln was bought new by H. W. Saunders on June 30, 1978 in Albemarle NC, and spent a pampered life here in the South. The 1978 Lincoln was a very distinctive and rich-looking car this year, especially in the triple blue "Collector Series" color scheme. This is a loaded car missing only the sunroof option, but with everything from all power options, to a big block 460 belting out enough torque to make even the muscle car minions question their cars capabilities, ( with all due respect to my muscle car buyers). PAINTThe paint is slick and deep, a show finish. The car appears to have possibly had a professional repaint in the original color at some point in its life but does nothing but add to the value and appearance of this car. INTERIORThe interior is a factory original with excellent blue leather and deep clean carpet. All of the interior chrome is virtually pit-free and shines like new. All the power options work as they should. The headliner is in very nice condition and is original, a rare find. Horn works great, and is loud! ACCESSORIES Radio with antenna and rear speaker AC Power Brakes Automatic heating system Six-Way power seat adjuster Power window regulators E-Z-Eye Glass Automatic headlamp beam control Almost new White sidewall tires 460 V8 motor BRIGHTWORKThe exterior chrome and stainless is in excellent condition, There is some minimal wear for a car that is almost 40 years old GLASSAll glass is crack-free with no delaminating. The headlights are all original and all work!! Rear taillight lenses are all crack free and exterior bulbs work. WHEELS & TIRES :Tires are in good condition. Wheels are the same. ENGINE/TRANSMISSION: 460 v8 runs as it very nicely, I have been driving this car on short trips around town and enjoy every minute of it. As excellent cursing car for weekend trips. Transmission shifts and works as it should BRAKES: Brakes work as they should TRUNK: Is original and is very nice especially for its age. UNDERCARRIAGETypical for a car that is almost 40 years old its is clean but some wear and grim that comes with normal driving. There is NO rust-through on any of the floors or trunk, or frame. Sixty Special scripts appeared on the sides of the tailfins and a Fleetwood script nameplate adorned the rear deck lid. Standard equipment included Hydra-Matic, power brakes, power steering, power windows, and fore-and-aft power front seat. PAINT The paint is slick and deep, a show finish. The car was restored in the mid-90's and has been a show car so there is some normal ware. INTERIOR The interior is a combination of original and restored it looks just as it . BRAKES Brakes work as they should TRUNK Fully restored and in excellent condition UNDERCARRIAGE Typical for a car that has had an extensive restoration, but some wear and grim that comes with normal driving.
