  1. I need one to three headlight bulb sockets for my Pierce that was converted to sealed beams (extra for another car). These are held to the reflector by a circular coil spring. They may be standard to other cars also. See pictures below. Thanks, Bob
  2. Would like to buy the windshield wiper dash control used on custom body 1937 - 1939 Lincolns (or other makes/models that used two cables to the wiper motors). When the knob was pulled, the cables to the motors were simultaneously pulled. Thanks Bob Jacobsen
  3. Want to buy correct 1934-35 Pierce-Arrow running boards (for 139" wheelbase). Picture attached showing slight curve. Thanks.
  4. PMac: The numbers do not match exactly but are close. For instance, my 1922 KLDH has a chassis # of 12654 (same as dash plaque) and an engine # of D12679H. Cheers, Bob
  5. What is the difference between a Remy O-D generator and a Remy O-F generator (1922)?
  6. Want to buy Trico Model KSB-298 and KSB-299 or similar wiper motors, with cable crank and clamp on top, as in picture, new or rebuilt. Thanks
  7. For 1922 Stutz touring - photo below - about 9.5". Thanks.
  8. Can't see my '91 MBZ behind the front row. Misty that am - left old cars in garage...
  9. Haven't seen any Stutzes here, so thought I'd add my two cents. 1922 KLDH 4-passenger Sportster, 360 cubic inch four. Original paint, upholstery (except driver's bottom cushion). Engine rebuilt with original Stutz oversize pistons, but not painted. New top and tires. Shows about 30,000 miles, but speedo was disconnected when I got it. Only one listed in the Stutz Club roster. Looks tacky, but drove it 400 miles on 2021 Modoc Tour. Sat in a MA barn for many years until my friend inherited it from her father who bought it in 1947. We drove it around the Indy track in 2011 for the 100th anniversary of Indy and Stutz.
  10. Want to buy a pair of touring car top saddles, casting #467. Thanks, Bob
  11. Wow - the same architect must have designed the Pierce-Arrow building (shown here under construction circa 1914) in San Francisco (still can read the "Pierce-Arrow" chiseled in the masonry at the top):
  12. I need 2 top rest saddles for a 1922 Stutz touring. The casting number is 467. Size is approx 9.875" Photo below. Thanks, Bob
  13. Would like to have factory photos, or any other period photos of 1933 Pierce-Arrow Convertible Sedan. Also, does anyone remember previous owners of car pictured below? Thanks.
  14. Hi Jason, Do you have the capability to repair distorted pot metal end castings on a Delco Model O-F? (1922 Stutz) Thanks, Bob
  15. I need 2 usable latches that fasten the canvas top front header to the windshield posts for my 1922 Stutz KLDH Touring. My rusty one is pictured below, and has a slider which engages the notch on the windshield post. There is a coil spring that the post presses against, and another smaller spring that keeps the slider engaged until it is pushed to release. Size is 2.5” across. Don’t know if it is common to other makes. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Bob Jacobsen

  17. After advertising for a 1933 Pierce-Arrow headlight switch, I received an email from RayMax@gmail.com, stating he has '1933 Pierce-Arrow parts, "email me for more details". I replied "please describe in detail what you have, pictures are helpful." He replied: "Here is the attached picture of my 1933 Pierce-Arrow. I²mbreaking this car for parts because of my health problem as I need to sell the caron time to raise funds to take care of my health problems.I want youto send me the list of parts that you are after , so that I can giveyou prices for them .I will also need your exact delivery address to allow me know if thedelivery will be practical to your door step .My Regards ." [no name] THE PICTURE of the car he was "breaking up" WAS OF A 1933 PIERCE SILVER ARROW (1 of 3 in the world) !!! I googled his email, and it turned up in a Russian dating service under "carautonews.xyz" Caveat emptor.
  18. Ed, thanks for the opportunity to clear things up. I seem to remember it the other way 'round ...at that 2015 Pebble, I snapped this pic of you entertaining 4 ladies, telling them all about 'your' Packard and how much work you had to do to it !!! Cheers ! Uncle Bob
  19. Ed & George, you brought a smile to my face (actually laughed out loud). Actually, I prefer In-n-Out Burgers, and I'll treat you both there or at Carmel Coffee Roasters when we meet at Pebble Beach. That is, if I have any spare cash after work on the 1242 Pierce, the '38 Buick, the '22 Stutz and the '54 Jaguar (all in and out of shops last year and this for everything from new carbs, new tops to complete brake systems and crankshaft turning). Happy Valentine's Day. BTW - I might be wearing a new hat.
