  1. Hi Loren, Thanks a bunch, that's a nice item to have on the shelf! I'm in contact with them as to whether the bumper they've been working on can be reworked a third time and come out looking properly formed, especially at the center ridge which will surely split when they push the front angle back toward the grill. I was really surprised that their fabricator was able to pull off transplanting the marker light holes as well as he did, it's invisible from the front and aligned perfectly. At the same time I'm also trying to reach Les Modrow on V8Buick as he responded he had a core a couple months back. My thought is that if his core is straight that the end result would be better than the Frankenbumper. Elvin
  2. And now that I'm paying closer attention the marker lights are much smaller as well and I see what you're referring to. Definitely wasn't paying close enough attention.
  3. Thanks Loren, I had try to determine that on examination of pictures and didn't notice those changes, I was mainly looking at the marker lights and general shape. I'll amend my search. I unfortunately missed a post by Les Modrow on V8buick.com as he had one that looked decent. I think you even commented on that post. Hopefully I can connect with him as his was a 65 and he's relatively close to North Star Plating who would do the job. Anyway, appreciate your help. Best, Elvin
  4. Hi all, I've posted this on 65gs and v8buick but thought I'd try here as well. I ran into some trouble with a rechroming job and now my 65 GS needs a new front bumper so I need to find a core. If anyone has one from a 64/65 skylark or 65 GS that is solid and hasn't been redone more than once please let me know. Thanks. Elvin
