  1. Car is fairly squared away. Front end is tight; steering box is tight; had the cover off the differential and the carrier assembly's in good shape. Haven't started it. Going by the numbers; having the gas tank cleaned and coated; installing new fuel line; rebuilding the vacuum tank. Replacing the water pump/generator coupler. Also, replacing running board rubber. All of this is part of the current asking price. Wiring needs attention and the carb should be rebuilt. Then we'll start it and see what we got, which I'm expecting will be fine, but then we'll revisit the price. emzee

  3. Steel Rubber has a number of different t-shaped rubbers-they vary in width of the blade part. See their website for Chrysler cars

Thanks, but I'm looking for the rubber seals that go between the post and the windshield frame they are quite irregular and on the driver side is grooved so the vacuum line can run along side it. They're concave on the post side and recessed so the frame fits nicely into it. I imagine I could make one if I had a medium (Devcon?) that could be dammed and filled and then use the frame or mock-up to make the impression. But I thought maybe someone had already gone to the trouble.
