Wow, what a story John.....my younger brother was a Sheriff's Deputy for Putnam County, NY and went down to ground zero to help with traffic control with the trucks removing the debris from the site.... I remember him telling me what he saw while there... he doesn't talk about it anymore.

As I recall, the second jetliner's flight path was right down the Hudson River towards the city....

WANTED: 1969 CHEVROLET IMPALA SS BODY SIDE MOLDING
STEVE POLLARD replied to STEVE POLLARD's topic in Parts Wanted
I'm still searching for this molding... I should make it clear that it needs not come from a SS only Impala, the molding on the Impala and SS Impala are the same...... Caprice and Bel Air are a different animal. Thanks again ! Steve -
John - I got this info from Wiki: SettingEdit The main setting for most episodes is the Stephens' house at 1164 Morning Glory Circle, in an upper-middle-class suburban neighborhood, either in Westport, Connecticut or Patterson, New York as indicated by conflicting information presented throughout the series. The season 3 episode "Soap Box Derby" shows the Mills Garage in Patterson as a neighbor's son's car sponsor, and the Stephens' station wagon is seen with New York plates. Elizabeth Montgomery owned a second home in Patterson. Many scenes also take place at the fictional Madison Avenue advertising agency "McMann and Tate", where Darrin works. Just a side note, my brother worked with a Sheriff Deputy from the Putnam County Sheriff's Department here in New York and he rented a house from Elizabeth Montgomery... the house was located in Patterson, NY. He mention that Montgomery would on occasion stop by the house to check on it. Steve

Follow up.......I removed the line from the wheel cylinder... fluid came out, so I replaced the wheel cylinder.... it's working now. While I'm at it since the other three remaining wheel cylinders are original ( 51 years old ) I'm going to replace those as well. With my luck, one of the other cylinders would of failed after bleeding the lines. Steve

I removed the bleeder....nothing, so I'm guessing it's the line itself going from the " T " connection to the wheel...will look into the line tomorrow... Steve

1969 CHEVROLET IMPALA SS 427 PROJECT
STEVE POLLARD replied to STEVE POLLARD's topic in Our Cars & Restoration Projects
Just got my original radiator back....re cored , media blasted, re soldered and pressure tested...turned out great ! Next up will be a carburetor rebuild and then I should be ready to start up the 427 Big Block. Steve -
Update: I started the process of bleeding the brake lines on the Impala last week between my work schedule and everything that's been going on. I started with the passenger rear line first ( furthest away from the Master Cylinder ), everything went well, the oil was brown in color - rust in the line ? We continued and after a while, it did clear up ( just a side note, I've had the Impala since 2004, the system has never been flushed out ) So onto the drivers side rear to begin the bleeding process last night. I'm under the vehicle, my youngest son is in the drivers seat, I hook up the bottle / hose - oil recovery and start the process.... nothing. tried again, nothing is bleeding out when I open the bleeder valve. Has anyone experience this problem ? I guessing that the line is blocked some where between the " T " connection and the wheel cylinder..... rust ? Thoughts ? Thanks guys !

I did not know that information Ted... I think that they are cool looking trucks, we had a old Dodge that we used in the Fire Service... Civil Defense donated it to our Fire Company, great truck, it would go anywhere ... I mean anywhere !! lol Oh, the '90 GMC was my "office" ..... loved that truck !
