  1. As the title says, I have a 1931 Chrysler CD8, but I'm having issues with the thermostat controlled grill shutters. The shutters stay closed most of the time, only opening once the car gets up to 210 degrees. I would think they should open alot sooner. This was on a 65 degree day too, wouldn't be good if it was 90 out. I have noticed a few other posts where they talk about this, and they've said you should not be able to move the shutters in 100% cold or 100% warm, but you may move them slightly in the middle. Well I can move the shutters whenever I want, just take quite a bit of effort. My main question, is there a way to adjust when the thermostat opens the shutters, so at a lower temperature? Or is thermostat junk? Thanks in advance, Jeff
  2. If you read my post correctly, you would see that it's an October car NOT May. If you purchased the car, you can do anything with it you'd like.
  3. BUMP. still available and running great
  4. I have a 1914 Ford Model T pickup for sale. The body is a 14', the engine is a 22' I believe. I bought the car out of a barn earlier this year, with no history on the car. It was in the family's barn for at least 20 years without being touched they said. The car was restored throughout one point in it's life. I have lots of experience with these cars and other brass cars as well, so I got it running very nicely and cleaned it up ALOT. The car performs exactly as a Model T should. The car would make a fun tour car since you could put all your gear in the bed. Contact me through here, email or phone. Price: $11,000 negotiable Location: Shelton, CT Contact: Jeff 315-729-9968 jekeys1@yahoo.com

The car was restored to original specs, and is in unmodified condition with a working oil pressure gauge, a modern temperature gauge, and a working Boyce Motometer on the radiator. The car starts right up, runs drives and stops very well. Price: $25,000 Location: Shelton, CT Contact: Jeff 315-729-9968
