I do not know if this Reo is the same as yours or not. But it is from 1910 maybe you can enlarge the photo ?

Here are some pictures of a 1931 Reo Royale 8 cylinder engine oil pump. Would this oil pump be used on other cars if so who was the manufacturer ?

I was told about this new car publication has anyone else seen it or heard of it ?

My 1931 Reo Royale radiator which is not installed needs to be painted and I have been told watch the paint you use. Is this a true statement ? Not trying to hijack the Thread.

The Reo Club has Face Book pages for different years of Reo's maybe try contacting them ? I know a fellow who owns a 1930's Reo truck maybe he can tell you what other brands of wheels will fit the truck or a Hollander Interchange Manual might help. You can also start another Thread asking for Hollander Interchange Manual help as there is a lot of helpful people on this site.

How did they balance the tire and wheel in the 1930's ? Spinning and a strobe light affair ?

I know for sure the 1931 Reo Royale had 7 lug wheels. They were 18 inch wheels

These are weights that thread on to predetermined studs on a wire wheel rim from the 1930's Reo Royale used them and other high end cars ? Did Ford and Chevrolet have them ? The tall one on the left is 3.2 0unce and ~1” tall. The short one on the right is 2.2 ounce and ~ 49/64” tall. The tall one on the left is 3.2 0unce and ~1” tall. I seem to recall that bending a preformed aluminum lineal without kinking can be done by filling it with sand. I have seen them bend steel hot water heating pipes to make an expansion loop on a high rise building 50 years ago. But they hammered down the ends of the pipe so the sand was confined and would not move. So I do not know how you would keep the sand in place to cause some resistance to stop the crumpling of the aluminium section.

It looks like it is As to your question about who made the wire wheels on the Reo Royales? It was Motor Wheel with a part number of 20881. The number may have been stamped inside the wheel when new but now may have either rusted over or worn off. I hope this help you and have a nice day. Would anyone be able to help identify the holes in this 1931 Reo Royale according to information received they were made by “Reo 18-inch 6.50s used Cleveland Welding wheels. The 6.00 18-inch was MotorWheel. Also the two studs at the bottom and other locations we assume were for weights to balance the wheel. There is three small holes around the hub to drain water when the hubcap was installed ? Where the finger is what would that hole be for ? The seven others are for the mounting bolts.

I was wondering where did you buy that roof molding as my 1931 Reo Royale needs some also. Plus learning how to bend it is an excellent question.
