  1. I would post on the Durant page asking to borrow a puller with a deposit.   This is some what time consuming and needs a helpful Durant member who has a puller.  I have lent some of mine out several times and with a $125.  deposit they always come back.  I don't have your thread size.

  2. Determine the thread of your hub cap and look on E-bay for a Old School Puller.  Knowing your thread size you can post on the "Parts Wanted" page looking for one.  The hubs come off easy with a puller,  Your method is sure to damage the wood spokes.  If there is a Durant page post on it.  Slow and Easy will save you money in the long run,
