    1924 carb

That would be very usefull, I really have no idea how it should go, later ones have a pivot on the riser and a stop, mine has neither and I can not see where the possible pivot could be to move the needle. Of course the carb and riser might not match! thanks phil

  7. I have a 24 44 6 in process of rebuild. one area that completely stumped me is the carb, I have seen later cars but none like mine. I just can not work out where the pivot points are for the controls on the carb should be. It's on the riser on later cars but mine does not have the lug. any idea or pics or parts out there? thanks phil
  8. Hi all i need a front axle for my 24 44 6 as the one I have is bent, looks like it had a fairly big smack in the late 70's anyway if anyone has one I would be very interested in it, could do with a set of springs too, again front as one is very different to the other. my rebuild is moving again after a long stall, mostly waiting for some ash to redo the wooden frame, someone had repaired in the past but used thin softwood so had too much body flex and too many large gaps that should not have been there! any info on the woodwork for a 44 would be gratefully received! thanks phil
  9. Can I hijack this old thread slightly, allright completely. i need a front axle beam for a 24 44 6 , I am hoping everyone who posted above will get a note saying reply and one may still have an axle? in the meantime will also post a new thread. how is the rebuild going, I have numerous small spares that may or may not be of the period. thanks phil
  10. oh here is a pic- looks better than it turned out to be! phil
