  1. I'm no mechanic and installed a gen 4 vintage air system in my 63 last year. They do not make a kit for our cars but will work with you when called.I used there slide controls hooked up to my originals and nothing was changed in the interior. It also has it's own heater core in the evaporator unit.Wasnt that hard after following previous builds Ed has supplied and help from Bulldogdriver.
  2. I dont think the fronts have any replacements, you can have the steel liners turned if there in spec.Mine were out of spec and I had J&G in joliet il. reline mine and had new shoes arced to match drums. They did a great job but (pricey). They have a internet page, just Google to get a idea .TN ROA 12969

  13. After reading about other members getting 13 to 14 miles per gallon ,I have always got about 10.Motor was rebuilt about 10,000 miles ago.All russ martin parts and board 30 over, distributor rebuilt by russ's shop and timing set to there specs.Single afb rebuilt,I'm running a electric fuel pump that I have to leave on or car doesnt want to keep running with the mechanical pump.Any thoughts?T.Nugent ROA 12969...

  23. Ray as Ed said that isn't hot.My 63 got to 230 on the way back from branson last year so I babied it home and had my radiator recored and new fan clutch.I have my radiator shroud sealed to radiator also.I haven't had a long trip yet so I can't see if upgrades have helped alot.On short drives it's about 195 to 200 so I'm pleased with that.Ive also read that when boring these nailheads they will run hotter, mine a 30 over 425.Ill get it on the highway for a couple hours and report back.T.N. 12969.
