  1. Alfred - didn't you notice I posted in this thread, and I am also in Wayne? Anyways, not sure how to message from my phone in this forum, so my mail is car(dot)fixated(at)google(dot)com. I'm sure you can decipher that. :-) shoot me a note, we should talk. Thanks. JMG
  2. Nope. Life back-burnered my toad, and it got bumped out of the garage the entire Michigan winter.... Here's hoping for a productive 2015!
  3. I just ran across this thread... I JUST got myself a 4-door '62 V-200 Valiant - my first ever Mopar. I call him the "Road Toad". My Toad runs, but needs brakes and some general maintenance before he can be driven. Family does not allow a LOT of time to tinker, so I'll be taking my time. My plan is to fix up the mechanicals, get him driving, put the trim and interior back together, and leave him as-is. There is something about all the rust, faded paint, wear, and patina that really screams 'history' and appeals to me these past few years - I like to leave the old cars as-is and not restore them. Different strokes and all that. Just thought i would drop in. thanks.
  4. also nice. thanks! I posted this in another thread, but here is where I try to share all my Harroun clippings.... https://sites.google.com/site/mikestuffonly/harroun-motors-corporation Mike
  5. thanks! I had not been on here in a while, and it did not notify me of your reply. I will add this to the collection!!!
  6. Hi West. Actually, it is the Indy Museum (and I) who are looking for the emblem! I thought I would ask here for them. >smile< thanks! Mike
  7. HI all. Has anyone ever came across an original Harroun Motors Company LOGO? Their company logo or emblem? I believe it is an image of an Arab with a rifle, sitting upon on a rearing stallion. We are looking for original prints, original emblems, whatever. Thanks. Mike
  8. Hi there. I posted this in the Marmon group, but perhaps it should be here.... After I learned that Harroun Motors Corporation was once located here in my town of Wayne, MI, and I am a fan of all things old cars, I went to gathering all the info I could find on the company. I have collected it on my web page, below. Just wanted to share what I have so others could enjoy. https://sites.google.com/site/mikest...rs-corporation I'd still like to know if any Harroun motor cars still exist, complete or partial. I would really love to see one and learn more. If you have one or know where one is, please shoot me a note or post on my page. And if you have any additional Harroun automobile info, I'll be happy to add it to the collection. Thanks! Mike Wayne, MI
